The blame is on the 2 azzwads that were less than 10 yards from the play that didn't make the right call. Also we have to remember, that wasn't his crew but a so called
allstar crew. He has been a pretty good official in the past.

Since his "job" is to watch QB/o line play, what happened to the flag on Brees & that hands to the face (subsequent int) in OT or the non holding calls on Cam J throughout the game? This is where he failed as Head Ref.

This guy doesn't get a pass. He was as bad as all the rest of those clowns.

Major, understand, but per NFL he's the final authority on the field and is responsible for the officiating, so he doesn't get a pass...

I'm done with last season, actually an hour after the game...

Don't forget what happened nor happy real changes that were needed didn't happen...

Further, don't like that the Goodell's NFL can influence themselves from subpoena when regular Joes would've been in contempt...

Re: Bill Vinovich, the Saints-Rams no-call referee, is the NFL's best official, ESPN says

I am so sick of hearing about this.

All the playoff ref crews are made up of various different refs into all star crews. They are also notorious about "letting them play" in the playoffs and not throwing a bunch of flags. Vinovich's crew is probably fine in the regular season. This isn't a big grand conspiracy.

So freaking tired of hearing about the non-call. DON'T blow a 13 point lead and 10 point lead IN THE SAME GAME, then throw an interception in OT and we wouldn't be sitting here sounding insane with conspiracy theories (As if Goodell is really smart enough to pull something off like that). The sad thing is, if the corner had been watching the ball on the non-call play, it would've been an easy INT and then maybe we would be discussing why we called 2 pass plays instead of running it and forcing the Rams to burn their timeouts. When I went back and re-watched that game recently, even Troy Aikman pointed out how it was a poorly thrown pass that could've been picked off. But beyond that, we won the coin toss in OT and then immediately turned it over. Our offense did not have a good game. IMO if Arnold don't drop the TD in the endzone early and we go up 17-0, we win all the way.

Lost in all this nonsense is that I think coach Payton called a bad game in both of our playoff matches. They fiddled around with the Eagles by constantly shooting themselves in the foot with dumb penalties on offense (not counting the early turnovers and not establishing the run), allowing Philly to hang around despite our defense dominating them. If not for Jeffrey's dropped pass, we're probably one and done and not even talking about the refs. Against the Rams, our play calling was absolutely confusing in the 4th quarter and by OT, it looked like their defense had completely figured us out.

I am just so sick of hearing about that non-call. I'm afraid that rule change pushed over it will end up causing more harm than good. I don't want to ever hear about the non-call again if/when that rule change comes back around and we lose a close game due to it.
