The only reason Tom Brady is playing is to try to break Drew's records...
That may keep Brees playing for a few more years.

Week 1: Saints 30, Texans 28

LINE: Brees completed 32-of-43 passes for 370 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Brees needs 18 passing touchdowns to move ahead of Manning (539) and 344 more pass attempts to leapfrog Favre (10,169).

Brees is ahead of Brady by two touchdowns, as the Patriots gunslinger threw three touchdown passes in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If Brees keeps up this pace, he'll move past Manning in Tampa against the Buccaneers on Nov. 11, and past Favre against the Cardinals on Oct. 27.

The only record I care about is the number of W’s at the end of the season.

Brees : "Ok. Plenty of time".

No one really mentioned in the Texans game how surgical Drew was on that last drive.

I want Drew to play at least 2 more years and surpass both Farve and Manning at 186 wins for second place all time.

He would have to average just below 11 wins a season for this year and the next 2.

That's doable.

He could have all the records, he's from New Orleans and so the Big Markets of NYC, LA, Chicago will never pay him the respect he's already due...

Sorry but I don't need some "TALKING HEAD" from a "LARGE MARKET" to tell me who to respect. Any knowledgeable football fan knows greatness when they see it. Breese has my respect as the G.O.A.T. at his position. Don't forget it was a Drew Breese that handed the reigning "LARGE MARKET" G.O.A.T. Peyton Manning his FIRST Super Bowl LOSS.

That’s why I’m always so critical of his turnovers. He’s spoiled us all. I’d take Drew Brees over any QB in NFL history.

Whatever this man does, he will never get the MVP award. They will always find a way to take it from him...Not as many yards (gets the most yards) Not as many touchdown passes (gets most yards and touchdowns) Too many interceptions (gets most yards, touchdowns. Least interceptions unbeaten and Superbowl win) ERM...you need to be over 6' to win it.

I think you get my point.
