C'mon people. This is no longer up for any debate. We were robbed again, in blatant fashion, on national TV. The NFL is a joke under Roger Goodell.

NFL has too much money invested in Los Angles to let a small market team like the Saints win but after Drew went down, did any of you think we were going to win?

What troubled me most was Rams only flagged once for holding.

Losing Brees sucks. But what sucks more is how sloppy we played when Teddy played well and how sloppy Teddy seemed after a couple drives. He just gave up! Clearly not the leader after Brees.

Every time we started to come out of the funk the refs threw a flag and made certain we couldn't get any momentum. Clear as a bell. Conspiracy? Hey, whatever word you want, but the fix was in today, and the odds are clearly stacked against the Saints. Three consecutive games with three mind blowing calls that any high school ref could have got right. It's a joke to think anything other than Roger Goodell is behind it.

This was a total team failure...especially the offense. If you told me that the defense would hold the Rams to 6 points at the half, I would have said not possible but the defense played hard today. They got no help from the offense, including the drives with Brees. Too many penalties and too many dropped passes.

Like Saintsfan1976 said...when Teddy played well or moved the ball it always came back with a penalty. The team let him down also when they needed to help him the most.

I’m not arguing the fact that drive killing flags were thrown. But I’m stopping short of “Goodell is behind this”..... Some of those flags we EARNED!

Look the league has a problem with officiating. That’s NOT new. They’re an $8B company who won’t fork out enough money to protect the integrity of play. And guess what? Most owners are fine with it. That is until their team is impacted.

I'm with the banana man. There are just too many incidents where we have been blatantly hammered by the refs for me not to question the small market vs the big market team favoritism. We all know that the NFL is only in it for the money and I don't trust Roger Godhell to not influence the outcome where possible. Any corporate CEO doesn't care about anything but profit and they would kill(well, almost) to keep the profits up.

Since we won the Super bowl and beat the well beloved Payton Manning the NFL has gone after us with an unfounded bounty gate witch hunt and then tried to dismantle our front office. The officials have not let a ball bounce our way since the Super bowl. I'm not really a conspiracy theorist but I'd bet money that Der Commissar has his finger on the scale. :ubl:

I realize that this is the worst officiating throughout the history of the NFL because the league is unwilling to pay the referees to be full time and more competent but something of a standard needs to be applied. Every team is getting bad calls but our team is refereed harder than others in my humble opinion.

Do I feel persecuted? Hell yes!!!

Just remember, it isn't just that we 'earned' a flag. Some teams also earn them and they're not thrown. If we sneeze at the line and some snot flies across the line of scrimmage ahead of the snap they're GOING to flag us.

Nobody gets held like Cam Jordan, and you rarely see it called. I refuse to believe it's by accident.

I don't think the players are tanking games, but there is just too much evidence, especially lately, for me to look the other way. These refs aren't stupid. They know what they're doing. When Jordan's TD was called back there was a ref 3 yards behind Goff. NO way that man (and the others) didn't 'blow' that play dead on purpose, even though that is exactly what they are NOT supposed to do.

I'm sure I'll calm down by the end of the week, but it is getting to the point now that it just can't be denied.

New Orleans consistently generates some of the highest viewer ratings when on nationality televised games. Period. Small market, sure. But big ad revenue. Saints have 4 prime time games scheduled and that doesn’t include a “game of the week” Like Sunday which was nationally broadcast.

So unless Goddell is saying “hey America - Watch me screw the Saints!!” Your argument doesn’t hold up.
