Hoping for the best for Drew. But gotta tell y'all, players know, and I didn't like the look in his Bree's during that post-game press conference...

I'm taking the blame, I'm superstitious when it comes to sports; and every f*cking time my krewe goes to Hooter's for a big game, we get a pregnant hooterette, hostess and the sugar turns to sh*t...

Swear when the hostess put those wings on the table, Brees was injured. My friends laugh at this ole' ball player's superstitions, but I guarantee you they won't complain if we don't go back there again...

Thought y'all appreciate that experience from yesterday...

;)

Why didn't you walk out and go to TGI Fridays or Olive Garden or Raising Cane's..or anyplace but Hooters.

I didn't like what I saw. If you compare Brees' facial expressions in the postgame press conference, particularly his eyes, and if you compare it to the video from literally ANY random Brees postgame press conference throughout his entire career, even after a tough loss, you can see right away that his face and body language was completely different -- makes me think the injury yesterday was not good. He looked dazed, like he had literally no idea what the future holds for him. That postgame presser of him in the pink shirt, was really tough to watch.

I mentioned it in the Game day thread ...

When Brees shook his head in disgust to Teddy on the sideline right after that play, he knew that his injury was significant.

Unfortunate but it's football.

Radios going off brees needs surgery at least 6 weeks out

That's not bad at all if true. Rogers and Big Ben are hurt, Cam is hurt....it's a long season. If Bridgewater can settle down, go through progressions instead of throwing into double coverage we could pull it together.

I'll be honest, I was thinking Brees would miss the rest of the season.

6 weeks could be a blessing & we know he'll continue to grind in rehab.

He'd be rested for the stretch run and playoffs...

I think so many of our plays are timing routes and require the QB knowing exactly where the WR will be as well as trusting the WR to settle down in the right spot. Whomever ends up playing QB will get better as they continue to work with the starters now that Brees is out. The only way either TB or TH will get better is with reps.

Also, our guard play has to get better...period! If not, it won’t matter who is under center. The team is going to have to surround and uplift whomever the QB may be.

Cane's doesn't have the game, Olive Garden sucks, and no TGIF's...

But no worries, we've a plan and it involves the friendly señoritas and tacos especial!

Worst comes to worst, move out two rows of shelves and we go Batman in my warehouse...

And I'm cooking jambalaya, gumbo, and smoking wings, dry-rub ribs and wook-beans...

Now, I'm curious as to the practice snap count at QB this week...

It could be a lot worse for sure. Something tells me Bridgewater will rise to the occasion and the team will rally behind him. I think we all knew something like this was going to happen at some point, so let's see what the team is really made of! I have faith!!

Live in Houma-Thibodaux, let me know when you're down...

We'll have the comfort food and the kindergarten mats laid out so everyone can lie in the fetal position in their own space while we wait for the Return of Brees...

Just read on my FFL (RTSports) drew is out 6 weeks. We are screwed. TB couldn’t beat off during that time forget about winning a game. We are about to see what drew means to this team. If SP does not start hill we won’t win a game. TB has such a slow release and scan time. No way he performs on an avg level. Hill is our only chance to go 3-3 or better

Have you taken a quick look at the Saints upcoming schedule by chance?

Within the next 6 weeks, there is only ONE DIVISION game. This team will continue to fight.

Stay positive .

Throwing hand. Can't grip the ball. Not good even for the Hall Of Famer.

I'll give TB one week to improve his game. His body language was awful and the team obviously didn't rally around him. Taysom on the other hand inspires this team. If I were coach I'd play TH.

It's evident Teddy's liked, loved by his teammates and coaches. Personable guy, just like Aaron Brooks. But like Sean Payton, this team is full of Alphas and they likely recognized Taysom's ability as well...

For these athletes, the politics is simple - Winning. And say what you want about spirals, reads, the team definitely played at a much sharper tempo this preseason when Taysom took the huddle this PreSeason...

Oh wow. Ok. WoW.
I a, just here shaking my head from side to side...ok.
WoW. What has been a deeeeeeeeeep down thought .....what if, when is now.
Ok.
I saw saw yahoo’s page and came here.
Ok. 6 weeks out.
I did not read the article.
Ok.

I am JUST F+*=() P &$$#) that last year this team was robbed. I WOULD HAVE felt the same for ANY , I MEAN ANY other team.

Now. Now what. Forward.
Brees made a great career. He had good, wonderful players too. Coach SP. He gave this city sooo, soo much to bounce back.

Saints have a good, bettervthan average, very wanted coach and his staff that other teams would snap up today.

He can make this Saints happen.

Regroup.
Film.

Coach SP and his staff and assist about coach, Brees, will turn this around. look out NFL.

6 to 8 weeks. Plus, we have no idea how he’ll bounce back. The guy’s almost 41 so we don’t know how quickly he’ll get his grip strength back.
