Other injuries
I had to work yesterday and missed some of the game. I saw the first half but could only watch and listen intermittently during the last half.
Seems like every time I was able to listen another player went down with an Injury. Can someone fill me in on who else got banged up? I heard Peat went down but nothing else about him or if he came back. I know there were others. Obviously people other than Brees. |
Re: Other injuries
Tre'Quan too, after a pretty good catch and run from him.

Re: Other injuries
They both seam to go down with some type of lower leg injury. Peat walked off without help.

Re: Other injuries
Murray did his part. Lots of other players dropped passes, poor pocket presence, indecision, sometimes poor tackling... was NOT our finest few hours of football. I turned it off and turned on the radio broadcast midway through the 4th quarter.

At one point of the ebb and flow of blood rushing back and forth from my ears, I reflected whether a chatty brunch with the ex, her family would be worse... |
Re: Other injuries
Somewhere in the top of the 4th quarter I looked out the front door and saw my neighbor across the street on his porch, cleaning his grill. I walk over with a beer, and I discovered he had actually started a fire, and was burning old documents related to his business -- he was too cheap to buy a shredder, LOL.
So we burned some documents together. That was easily one of the worst games of the Payton/Brees era, perhaps THE worst. |
Re: Other injuries
One more injury to report....my pride is on IR. :bng:

For people that hype up Ingram, WTF did he do in that final stretch of the season where our offense couldn't do anything? He was a complete non-factor in the playoffs. Not just last year, but he also did nothing in the 2007 playoff run. KAMARA was the one sparking the offense with big plays when we were struggling in those games. It's usually him, even when teams are doubling him in coverage and focusing to shut him down. Ingram just runs up the middle for 2 yards. It wouldn't have mattered if we had Ingram, Murray or even Pierre Thomas. The Rams had us completely figured out Sunday, almost as if we had no plan for them. They picked up right where they left off from the NFCCG by grinding the offense to a halt. Payton walked right into Wade Phillips' trap. |
