Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
I would be willing to roll the dice on him of the price was right

Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
He should have a job somewhere when QBs like Fitzpatrick, Nathan Peterman and others are getting jobs.

The guy was a one trick pony flash in a pan. He lost his starting job because he was figured out.

Do it. If Taysom not gonna start then we’re either taking a risk by playing him. Or we’re wasting his talent letting him hold a clip board. Colin’s only what six years removed from a SB. Still a young QB.

Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
With Drew out, he would still be the 3rd best QB on the team. If Kap wanted to play football, he would be in the NFL. No team is going to hand him their starting job. No team is even going to hand him their backup role. Why would they?

"I just find it mind boggling someone ca be punished for what they believe is the right thing."
I find it interesting that he wasn't kneeling when he was the starting QB for the whiners. |

Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
It's been so long now. I don't think his head would be in the game with the social justice still flying around and distracting him. If we need a plan C I'd rather take a flier on someone like Landry Jones who is the fringe of the league and didn't get a real chance to prove his worth.

Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
Most people can’t grasp why Colin did what he did until it hits home. His approach wasn’t NFL friendly and he took a risk. If anyone loses someone close at the hands of another our vision of things change. Whether it be police brutality, school shootings or natural disasters. Our view of things change the closer it happens to us. You get NFL fans all over the country stating hurricane Katrina as the reason for the Saints SB victory. We are highly offended by the notion but they think it’s comical.

1. There is a reason that no teams have looked at him in years. He isn't worth looking at. Look at the 'bad eggs' that are playing, winning clears anyone's reputation in the NFL.... Vick had a career after killing dogs. 2. This is entirely on him and it has nothing what so ever to do with being on his knees. He was offered a contract by the Broncos and he turned it down, also walked out on his commitment with the 49ers... Oh he owns it all right, he owns the crap out of his situation. At the end of the day he also let some cooch get him sideways with his employer and that didnt help him any either... He is a poster child for bad decisions. Broncos offered to pick up the remainder of his 49ers contract.... he declined. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...fered-contract He opted out of what he had with the 49ers. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2017/3/...ers-free-agent |
Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
You want Taysom to start, but not Kapernick?
|
Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
Of course his agent is calling teams. That's his job. He makes money if Kap signs a contract somewhere.
Don't see the Saints picking him up, but, with the way QBs are dropping right now, wouldn't be surprised if someone at least gave him a workout. |
Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
He had a job. His wife blasted the owner and that was that. She destroyed the signing. She'll do it again. She hates the NFL.

I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but if I left a job, then sued the company I left and got a (whatever) million dollar settlement, why in the hell would I apply for another job with that company and think I have a chance? Boggles my mind.

I have the opinion that he wasn't "kneeling to protest." He was kneeling because he got benched and he was pouting. Then after he and his agent figured out what a **** storm he started, they came up with the whole "protest" idea. |

1. He got benched and he was pouting 2. He starting dating the activist radio host in oakland and she started his path to protest. Let me repeat: I do not want that fool anywhere NEAR our team. I don't even want him in the stands attending one of our games. That's too close. Let him move to Cuba and worship Che like all the idiots in the 60s who also had no clue... |
Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
His wife will sabotage it to advance her own radio career. She dated a couple of 49'ers before him. He's nothing but a ***** who never got laid before her. She laid it on him and he lost his mind. She ruined his life to advance her's is what happened.

He got benched for Blaine Gabbert. And that's back when he used to play football.

Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
Better fit with the Steelers..

Re: Colin Kaepernick’s agent has contacted quarterback-needy teams
Kaepernick's numbers are much better than he actually was a QB. The reason he isn't picked up by teams isn't because he kneels for the national anthem, it's because he routinely misses some of the easiest throws that a QB should be able to make and only got by at his position because of his base athleticism. He fit with the 49ers because they were stacked, and him being mobile/strong allowed his receivers to get large throwing windows. People forget how horrible he looked right before he got bench... for Blaine Gabbert. He was in the midst of one of his most extraordinary games, throwing for only 4 yards in 3 entire quarters. At the time, he was pretty much looking horrible on a weekly basis. Blaine Gabbert unfortunately was even more horrible than he was and Kaepernick ended up coming back and finishing the season. There is a very good reason he was replaced though. He was simply not a good QB.
He probably would fit with the Steelers though. That is one of the better situations I've seen for him in a while. Our offense needs someone that can complete passes at a high rate. Our offense is built around consistency. Kaepernick can't do that. |

I like my locker room. We don't need another distraction or another bad QB. We had our share of both before Drew got here.
