The Edge: Saints vs. Seahawks — Assessing how New Orleans, Seattle stack up at each position

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Through 2 games, Seattle is just an average team. Nothing special on either side of the ball. If the Saints can execute effectively in all 3 phases, get off the field defensively on 3rd down ... we win. Period....

Get Russell Wilson on his back early, often...

The Carnac the Magnificent foresees lots of Nascar in this matchup for the Saints to be successful...

Sean Payton in Press Conferences referred to a Saints Defensive Pass-Rush Front of Jordan-Davenport-Onyemata/Rankins-Hendrickson...

But running the ball, effectively eat game clock, would be the ideal complementary strategy to a game victory...

Don’t know why all the mis match predictions . Look what happened last week . Didn’t have time to make adjustments when drew went down. Payton s a guru to adjust to pressures .It was game on. it could have be a field goal outcome. I’m hoping better play from our corners ,and it’s on fellas.

Bump.

Offense didn't turn it over, Teddy didn't hurt us, AK played like AK (check)
Defense made key stops, created a turnover, turned it in to a score (check)
Special team (set the tone and scored a TD) check

When you win in all 3 phases of the game, the probability of defeating your opponent goes way up.

The fourth phase, officiating, didn't bite us in the arse this time around.
