WRs

Looks like Trequan. Smith is hurt again it’s going to be interesting next years draft. We need to rebuild our line but if these young receivers don’t step up and compliment MT . I’m going to go[emoji529][emoji529][emoji529][emoji529][emoji529][emoji529][emoji529]

A shame because he actually had one of his better games as a pro

Our line is good outside of Peat... don’t think replacing 1 guy equals rebuilding. I agree that our WRs are still thin. We have some talented UDFAs that may get their chance I don’t think much of Smith Carr or Kirkwood. Was hoping we would eat more out of Cooks but maybe that will still happen.

Re: WRs

Our WR's play according to their draft status. MT is our clear number one followed by the often injured Ted Ginn who is fairly old for a football player. Our number three is a third round pick with potential but so far that's all we've seen and he's injured. Follow that up with UDFA's that we are all hoping will be the next Colston and I'm left feeling nauseous. We need to invest a high round pick on a WR after we draft an O-lineman in the first round.

Armstead needs to be replaced, or will be soon. Can’t count on his health but when he’s in he’s a stud.

A bunch of us were screaming for a high round WR the past few drafts, but Payton knows best apparently

This is going to bite us in the asre again. Like play off time.
PS. We wasted 3 years on Tommy lee Lewis when we could have been developing potential.

Absolutely agree.

Brees or no Brees, teams know if they lock up Thomas and Kamara, that none of our other guys can beat them.

That's how it's been the past few years, our hope was that Jared Cook could take some stress away, I'm personally not a fan so far.

Re: WRs

Jeff Ireland will sort that out ...

But I agree, far too many UDFA WR/TEs on the roster.

Kirkwood
Carr
Hogan
TommyLee * currently out of football
Butler
Southlake (Jordan Humphrey)

This is why I continue to beat the drum for adding another "vet" WR. Counting on rookies and undrafted WRs rarely turn out well in the playoffs.

I actually believed Rishard Matthews would be a difference maker before he acted a fool and quit.
