Week 4 -Cowboys

I wish I had more to say but after the shock of the Seahawks game, I have zero idea what to expect of week 4. I thought we had a chance to win but 30+, in Seattle, no Drew... Stunned.

That said, the Cowboys are 3-0 and their three previous opponents have a combined 1 win this season.

The Cowboys come to the Superdome and its Sunday night football, I'd like to see Bridgewater, Kamara, and Thomas put on a clinic.:bng:

Dallas didn't look all that great against an awful, tanking Miami team.

It wasn't until the third quarter they finally figured it out and throttled them, but early on it looked like it was going to be a nail biter.

The Dolphins also got screwed out of a TD in the end zone that was called back on the BS catch rule, but was obviously a TD.

Run defence will be huge. And the d-line putting som pressure on Dak.

Pokes looked very vanilla maybe staged that way. It was strange Miami getting throttled for 2 weeks prior and it’s a game on through half time? Stinky maybe not showing to much for Sunday

Good match up here.

Expect their DC to load the box on AK. Similar to how they play us last year.

Teddy will have to get in rhythm early.

Exactly what there going to do . It’s going to be a tough sob to win. It’s that pulling screen that hard to stop if our dbs don’t crash them in

Re: Week 4 -Cowboys

-The Cowboys are for real.
-Dak is really good.
-Zeke is a beast.
-Their OL is one of the best.
-The WR's are legit 3 deep with speed and skills.
-Whitten is a first down difference maker.
-The new playcaller is the/a future Head Coach.
-Their DL brings the pressure.
-Their LB crew is the best in the NFL.
-Their run D is good.
-Their secondary is average.

The Saints will have to find a way to run the ball and make some big plays on offense, defense and special teams to win this game. Can they? Sure. Will they? I certainly hope so. Is it more or less likely? Less.

This is what all the pundits are saying and it sounds like we don't match up well. Bridgewater will have to have a great game. This may be a greater victory than the Seahawks.

Couldn't tell against Miami

Agree. Beating Miami isn't an indicator. The fins will be lucky to win one game this year.

I'm not drinking the Cowboys kool aid.

They allowed a bad team to hang around for almost 3 full quarters. The Saints are hardly the Dolphins.

Trust me, Dallas faithful aren't sleeping on the Saints ... even without Brees under center.

The dome will be LOUD.

31-6. LOL. I'm not a Cowboy fan. I like most Cowboy fans less. But, the Cowboys are for real.

We have more at stake than the Cowboys do, since they are 3-0 in a division that is even weaker than ours. I'm hoping that shows.

They layed down against the fish and had to wake up

Home dog (+3)

that's what, 2nd time in five years?

I had this pegged as a loss with Drew in the game. Hate to say it but it will take a miracle to pull this one out. Better not start with penalties early. Especially at home.

Kind of like scoring two TD's on special teams/defense last week.

Re: Week 4 -Cowboys

Of course, every game is different, but the last time we played the Cowboys and they held us to 10 points (WHICH EVERY TALKING HEAD AND COWBOYS FAN SEEMS TO BE TALKING ABOUT) was at the end of a long, brutal run of games, it was a Thursday night game on the road on a short week after playing the Falcons, and the Saints were already very banged up with injuries. We knew that game was going to be a tough slog going into it (short week of rest) and going into that Cowboys game last year, five of the Saints' previous six games were against either division rivals or playoff caliber teams. It was a long run, and the Saints were inevitably just running on fumes, no wonder they were flat and played a dull, uninspired game.

This is just a long-winded way of saying, don't read too much into the Cowboys' defensive performance against the Saints last year, or the Saints' offense with Drew sputtering against the Cowboys last year (if that's how you want to look at it).

Obviously, the Teddy factor will be a huge unknown. But don't use the results of last year's game as a reason to be scared! DIfferent game, different year.

Cowgirls coming to our house and they coming to play a team that's compared to Miami!

Not enough downfield passing.

I'm afraid it's gonna look a lot like last year.

Dallas 20, New Orleans 13

The only hope I'm holding out for is the Sean Payton revenge factor. It's real. Plus primetime game at home. Payton usually shows out.

They needed 3 quarters to figure out how to beat a tanking Miami team that is trying to lose every game.

Im not scared of Dak or Elliot, wasnt last year even though they beat us. It was their defense that got the best of us.

Dak is no Watson or Wilson. our run defense is pretty good so Elliot wont beat us. The real question is what can Bridgewater do vs Dallas D.

I went through last years Cowboys schedule, their was only 2 teams they beat with winning records, 3 counting playoffs. They were Saints, Eagles, and Seahawks. Seahawks got the best of them in the regular season though.

Good points but what may kill us is there speed. Cooper Cobb and he’s not fast but a sure thing is Witton is back and producing.we can t let them run by us like last year. Pressure will be better in our house May be the difference.

Dak had one of his best games last year against us. He carved us up, mainly with Apple struggling all day over Amari Cooper.

This year Dak has improved greatly and is playing much better. I wish he didn't play for Dallas, cause I liked him at Miss State and think he could become a better QB.

Call me crazy, but I think we win this game if the defense plays well. They can fix their mistakes from last year's match and Dallas is a team that is buying into their own hype. Look at how they struggled with an awful Miami team.

They play us and Green Bay next. One of us is going to end up beating them.

As Dak has improved, so has our passrush. Dak is nowhere near as slippery as Wilson, I would not be surprised to see him get sacked 3-4 times and hit some more.

Re: Week 4 -Cowboys

I find that it looks like our secondary are each playing there own game and not as a communicating unit. Plus, tackling has been atrocious from them. They need to work as a unit and maybe then, our defensive front will get some help.

Re: Week 4 -Cowboys

We lost last year on a dropped TD pass to Smith. He catches that pass we win. We will win Sunday by 10.
