You don't do it now but eventually, obviously, of course. Rest easy, there is a 0% chance Kamara leaves and goes away to another team as a free agent. But let it play out a little longer. Keep in mind, there is a lot of change coming in the Saints cap situation -- a lot of money that is tied up and not there now, will be freed up in a year or two, and a lot of money that is available now will probably be used to pay other important but lesser people first. Plus a fair amount of Loomising will happen, and we will get this done nicely and equitably for all parties involved, when the time is right. Kamara isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

We will get to it eventually, but extending Payton certainly increases our credibility in keeping him.

If they could write it where his biggest money year is the year Drew's money isn't on the books. :) When Kamara wants more money, he will get paid and the Saints will pay him. Honestly, I believe it will absolutely happen next year.

There’s been talk about who to keep and how are we going to re-sign all the good players we’ve drafted recently. Right now, I’d re-sign Kamara and Ramczyk and not worry about the defensive players; save for one guy... Vonn Bell.

Yeah I would definitely keep Vonn Bell. He’s the leader in the secondary and he’s making great progress. I see Gardner-Johnson as PJ’s replacement at nickel CB.
