I saw that on HLN sports this morning. The media is all in on pointing out the referee deficiencies. Good. Maybe Der Commissar will have to get off his arse and do something about the horrible officiating. Every game the announcers talk endlessly about the how bad the officiating is.

This doesn't surprise me. "Player safety" is a joke in the NFL.

I watched a play yesterday where Dolphins' quarterback Josh Rosen was sent out the game to the blue concussion tent, for hitting his head on the ground during a tackle, and the Dallas defender making the tackle also hit his head on the turf on the same play and was somehow allowed to stay in the game. WTF. And every time they showed the slow motion replay on TV, you could CLEARLY see the Dallas defenders' helmet and head, also pounding and grinding into the turf, sliding along right there hitting the ground alongside Rosen, and yet no one said anything.

You see this all the time: defender hits RB or wide receiver, head to head, the offensive player is sent out, sent tot he concussion tent, sometimes changing the complexion of the game or even killing the offensive drive. But 90% of the time, the other defensive player in the same collision mysteriously stays in the game, and no one says a word. I see heads hitting the turf all the time, and no one from "upstairs" buzzes down to stop anything.

At least they let the fumble this game play out instead of blowing it dead. Willing to bet if not for the Rams screw up they would have killed it.

Refs in the Dallas game also took points away from Miami. They had a touchdown pass; BOTH feet in, he got about 4 steps before the ball was knocked out of his hand. Reviewed and overturned.

If that TD stands, Miami goes up 13-10 before the half and then Dallas looks really shaky.
