Re: Saints vs Cowboys Game Day Thread

I'm alright with how Teddy is doing. With the way Dallas pass rush was going and Quinn being crazy good tonight, taking deep drops would be recipe for disaster and a turnover. Dallas was in the same boat, they couldn't get the ball deep because of our pass rush. Next week might be the week to try to get Teddy's deep ball working ... Tampa's secondary and pass rush are not as fearsome as what we've had to deal with the first four weeks.

Don’t get me wrong I love teddy when he takes off and runs with it. It’s something new that we don’t see from drew very often. As long as they give us 9 yards a pop with his passing I’m all for him. But we have no down field threat that’s bothersome.

Dallas is who we thought they were.

Papers champions.

The media blew them up to be great. Beating the Deadskins, Giants and Fins don't count.

The girls ran into a playoff caliber team tonight. If Brees plays tonight, Dallas would have gotten blow out of the stadium.

Who Dat :bng:

And there was 2 other unbeaten that was a play away from losing. Strength of schedule is coming back to bite

That’s my worry also...no true deep threat to take the top off the defense. It’s working now but for how much longer. The good thing is that the schedule gets a little easier.

We’re spoiled

Honest question. Have you watched Gardner Minshew or that Carolina backup QB play? Those guys are great backups and maybe even starter material. They showed me all kind of throws, Deep throws, seams... It's not even fair to compare them with Teddy. This garbage on offense is unwatchable.

We had guys running wide open on a couple of plays. Teddy needs to pull the trigger.

The line was getting beat with 4 rushers and stunts

Davenport was very good tonight against an All Pro tackle.

Marcus Davenport also contained the edge. Forget the sacks, he's been extremely good in 2019.

Stay healthy.

Shout-out to you Major, for acknowledging that. The kid would have 4-5 sacks he missed by a hair. But he consistently brings pressure.

Malcolm Brown also played great. Our entire D-line was great.

Just listened to teddy on the podium I can see why the o line can’t hear him ,soft voice really had to crack the volume up. Seriously

Finally heard coach say we’ll have to consider changes at center and quarterback. Taysom would get the team in and out of the huddle and get the ball downfield. Oh that it were so.

Ramczyk had another solid game against All-Pro Demarcus Lawrence, Two Tackles, One Sack (on an inside stunt Warford missed exchange)...

This season, Ramczyk has faced J.J. Watt, Michael Brockers, Jadeveon Clowney, and Demarcus Lawrence and whooped that arse (even if you give Ram the chit, only one sack - one)...

The rest of the offensive line, not so much...
