What a wonderful week
Atlanta lost...
Tampa won but at the expense of utterly humiliating the Rams... Minnesota lost in hilarious fashion... We beat Dallas without scoring a touchdown. Unfortunately Carolina won, but it's still OK. |

Re: What a wonderful week
Brady looked like he's 42 and should retire after this season. That's a good thing.
Mahomes TD streak is over and is starting back at 0 to try to break Brees record of 54 straight. That's a big deal. Green Bay's defense finally played a good offense and folded like a cheap suit. Next. We are seeing the beginning of the end for Matt Ryan. He isn't anywhere close to the QB he was even 3 short years ago. He's a $30 million disaster. |
Re: What a wonderful week
Two division teams won. Tampa is well coached and could turn the corner soon. We've split the season with them a couple of years now I believe. Atlanta is usually a good game but we have had Drew and he has been the difference. Our division has been built to beat us. If they were to all get new QB's we'd be in serious trouble. Drew will hopefully play a couple of more years. I see no evidence that he has declined. I saw evidence of poor line play and only one NFL receiver, Michael Thomas, to throw to.
Nonetheless, I have had a good week walking around with a little extra bounce to my step. That was an ugly win and yet it was so beautiful. :p |

He reminds me of Rodgers too in how he's trying to find the highlight play and show off his arm strength opposed to methodically picking a defense apart. Against the Ravens, he had an INT called back and another INT dropped trying to do a no-look pass. Vs the Lions he missed several wide open guys by making deep ball attempts to receivers double covered. Luckily so far, he's better at getting rid of the ball than taking ridiculous amounts of sacks like Rodgers has always done. |
Re: What a wonderful week
I don't watch ESPN at all after a Saints loss and the week is genuinely miserable.
