Great win but as many posters here have already pointed out ...

Don't take your play maker off the field on those short goal line situations.

Mike/Kamara gives us the best opportunity to score.

Nice to see an elite receiver not *****ing about his touches.

That TD to Thomas could’ve won me my fantasy game. Payton brain fart

Teddy has Thomas and Kamara. Two great players for sure. But, the lack of anybody else to make even the smallest play is really hampering the Saints offense. Teddy is absolutely giving it his all. 2-0 is all that matters.

He will never be Drew. He has done well enough to win 2 very difficult games.

That being said the offense needs to step up next week against the Sucs

Agreed. In a day and age where everyone takes the spotlight to push an agenda or market “their brand”. He talked about his QB and his concern for TB.

Solid character

We don’t have a true slot receiver that runs great routes. We need that. We also need a burner.

We have the slot candidates, we just need to pick one and get him the reps...

Burner? Neaux, you're absolutely right on that one...

Correct the play call at the goal line before the half was ridiculous. Might as well have lined up for the FG instead.

Who’s your favorite candidate?

Carr? I’m not sure Lil’Jordan is a true slot. Kirkwood maybe? I think Tre’Quan will end up being in the Tedd Ginn role.

As long as he can make Aaron Brooks look bad, we will all be OK with that.

Teddy giving it his all as a game manager... because that’s all he offers. Hard for folks to make plays when he won’t throw the ball more than 10yds.

I’m not sure what people here expected from Teddy, but I have seen exactly what I expected to. A game manager that can win if everyone plays great around him. Teddy ranks 30th in QBR after 2 games, so if that’s giving it his all... ok.

I don’t think Teddy will put up enough points against Tampa, unless the D or special teams score, this game is likely a loss.

So what do you do to game plan on Sunday if you are Coach Payton/Carmichael?

We gotta slow the game down. Run. Run. Run. Play action. Slant. Bubble screen. RB screen. Curls. Quick outs. Drags. Then eventually take the top off.

I actually think this is a much tougher match up than last week's game simply because who the Bucs now have as a Head Coach and Def Coordinator.

Lattimore will need to replicate his performance on those boundaries.

Goodwin and Mike Evans are problems.

I agree with Rez, but we need to force teddy into deep throws more often. Teddy is 1-7 on throws of 15yds or more, that's awful but you have to keep the threat of it in the game so DBs don't start cheating up. I would also mix in Hill and let him have about 15 snaps at QB, not for gadget plays, but for actually throwing the ball and making reads.

I hope he gets back soon. It looked like the light bulb was just about to come on when he got injured.

Teach Deonte Harris the playbook and have him go deep to pull the defense
