Thomas Morstead named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month
 

And on Thursday, Morstead was recognized by the NFL as the NFC Special Teams Player of the Month, the first time he’s earned that award in his career. Morstead was singled out by the league for his efforts in the third phase of the game, having placed 11 of his 17 punts inside the opposing team’s 20-yard line. Incredibly, he has yet to see a punt reach the end zone for a touchback, giving the Saints’ opponents difficult field position to work with on offense.

He is a weapon for the Saints. Being a master at his craft brings the ultimate reward. He doesn't have to tackle. :)

Teams normally aren't scared of the opponent's punter. But I think Morstead is changing that.
