Now that Ingram is gone, should the Saints try to get Adrian Peterson back?

Murray has been unimpressive so far and with the Redskins now a dumpster fire they might be willing to trade AP for some draft picks.

Kenyan Drake trade. He's a fine pass catcher, young. Just on a bad team. He's wasting away over there. He did have some fumble issues but that's an easy fix and he's probably over it.

I said early on though Murray was not going to work out. Even with a lead and about 10 touches or so looks super flat and uninspiring.

No giving up picks for anyone not in long term plans.
While the early picks have been good lately, too man mid rounders onwards getting wasted and it's hurting the cap space. We need more players on Rookie deals especially with RR, ML,VB,,MW upcoming deals

It took Ingram like four years to start producing in our offense. Payton just has to get more comfortable expanding Murray’s role.

I was down on the Murray signing but now I am just kind of blah. He’s done what he’s been called upon to do when we are closing out games. Other than that we haven’t really put him out there all that much. I would like to see how he would do if Payton tried to commit to the run. Maybe we will see maybe we won’t. Either way I miss Ingram.

I doubt the Jags will be able to hold onto Ozigbo. He is never activated and they have two RB ahead of him, not to include Blue who could return. Couple of injuries and they will have to cut him.

Latavius carried the ball less than 5 times vs Dallas and 7 times against the Bucs.

What in the hell are you realistically expecting from a RB who isn't getting that many carries in a game? I find it interesting that when Ingram was here, most wanted him gone.

All Murray need is more touches.

Ingram had turf toe issues early on. He did do well his rookie season but he struggled with that toe. I do recall however them running him straight up the middle for 2-3 yards like a thousand times in a row. At some point we started throwing to him and that's when he turned the corner.

He wasn't a natural pass catcher. He worked on it and eventually refined the skill.

I'm not worried about the running game. I am worried that Kamara will get injured from over use or we'll shorten his career. He gets used up the middle as often as a bruiser running back.

IF we can a RB for a 4th rounder (or 5th or 6th, etc.) sure. I think Drake would be good. Not AP though. He does have something left in the tank BUT not a lot!

The AP ship has sailed and will most likely hit a reef in the Potomac River.
Murray should fill the need, when Drew get's back the pressure should come off Kamara a bit.

We waived him but he never even made it to our practice squad. The Jags snatched him up, and I believe another team on the waivers list was interested in him as well.

How so?

Ozigbo is currently 4th on the RB depth chart & has been inactive in all games thus far. 0 carries, 0 attempts as a Jaguar entering week 5.
