Why the hell was Cohen pounding his chest after losing 5 yards?!

PJ better bring him some sunflower seeds in 2 weeks to enjoy on sideline. This rookie isn't going away.

Seems like we could have a great platoon - PJ Williams the more experienced option who is probably a bit more steady overall while CJGJ has the raw force and speed to make sudden plays and will definitely see the reps on special teams.

I'm sorry, is the concern, that CGD hurt somebody's feelings? I'm confused.

Just end it. No need for this stuff. The game was over. He knew it. Saints knew it. Everyone did. No point in smack talking at that point. Beyond stupid on us and I hope it is addressed. Pats don't do this stuff. Grow up.

I agree with the Beast, do your job keep to the business in hand.
If you feel the need to make fun of Cohen's height call him up after the game.
I'm sure Mr. Cohen would be just thrilled hearing from you.

I thought it was tacky and was surprised we didn't get flagged especially when the other guy joined in. Be better than them.

CGJ has played well but that was a classless move. You would never see Drew making fun of somebody's height. Keep it classy New Orleans.

Re: CGJ dissing Cohen about his height

None of us knows what was said on the field. It originally looked like CGJ was trying to shake hands but Cohen started jawing and then it turned to something else. People sure get their feelings hurt to easily these days. Wonder if when Cohen farts if his shoes fill with dust since his azz is so close to the ground?

Re: CGJ dissing Cohen about his height

There was also some jawing going on between he and Payton. I'm sure that played a role in it as well.

When you're up by 25 you act like you have been there before. CGJ played very well but acted like a dumb rookie on that play.
Cohen's been to a Pro Bowl, was an AllPro returner, and has cashed a few more checks than Gardner-Johnson. I'm guessing he's heard the short jokes before, as have Brees, Sproles, Lance, Harris, etc.

Re: CGJ dissing Cohen about his height

I dunno. The guy was chest beating and jawing, when he lost 5 yards on the catch and was down by 26 points....I think if you do that you kind of open yourself up for some commentary...in another part of the game I think it was Apple who was pointing up at the scoreboard when some Bears player was jawing at him.

Be a "TRUE PRO" get the whole defense together and run to the opposite end zone and pose!! That's how you act like you've been there before!!!

Seems to me cohen was frustrated his qb led him to be blasted. Cgj looked to be going for a hand gesture but being left hanging he just taunted him. The kid is young and we all do stupid s#!+ every now and then. Sure the coaches will address it and we won't see anymore of that during the game

Some of these players sure have a lot of extra energy to spare during a game.

You ever watched NFL football in the early 90's?

It may be stupid but whatever Cohen did, it pissed off Apple and our Coach too because he was jaw jacking. Tarek was getting the business early and often by CGJ. Frustration had set in for him.

No one is complaining about the way Aaron Donald manhandled (picked him up off his feet -thought I was watching Darth Vader in a Star Wars flick) Freeman on Sunday after that Lamb int.

After the game, I saw Payton and Cohen greet each other in a civil manner.

Not a big deal, it's football.

Oh he just paid for it alright..
$21,000 fine for that Stunt not the hit on Trubiski imo.
Roger got him.
I didn't care for what he did but It will be a happy day when the dictator is a part of nfl history as a truly disliked *****.
BOGUS FINE

Re: CGJ dissing Cohen about his height

Chauncey had an almost identical hit on Dak Bortles a few weeks ago but I get the rule (crown of the helmet) that was enforced.

The fine amount is outrageously excessive though.

SmashMouth 10-25-2019 10:47 AM

Re: CGJ dissing Cohen about his height

Appeal and repeal fine.

Impeach Roger.

Most of the fine amounts are dictated by the CBA and not arbitrary.

Re: CGJ dissing Cohen about his height

^^^ AG I get it and understand fines/appeals however the amount is 2/3 of his game check. That wouldn't sting as much if he was making Patrick Peterson type money.

IMO fines that are imposed across the league are ridiculous.

Again, the amount is excessive & should be reduced.
