I'm not writing off Tre' but I'm close. Even before the injury, he hasn't done a whole lot to help his case. He is progressing but not fast enough. This isn't a un drafted guy. He went in the 3rd round - same draft class, year as Michael Gallup (had a TD last night) who continues to perform for the Cows.

Not sure of the severity on his ankle sprain, however Tre needs to get out there on the field and do what the Saints front office drafted him to do. Only so many times you can check down to Kamara. This is my reason for beating the drum so hard for another quality WR pre trade deadline. Can you have imagined Emmanuel Sanders in New Orleans? Now he's the enemy on a young, up and coming 49er team.

I hope Tre' comes back soon but I'm not holding my breath either.

Definitely agree, every week Gallup is making plays and just seems to be able to get open.

I have a feeling that once the playoffs arrive it will look like last year, crucial drives not being turned into points because teams know we cant beat them without Thomas or Kamara.

He will be back asap and not until that. I'm sure he is learning a lot just from being on the team during meetings.

I regard him without passion or prejudice. Not doing anything for the team this season and clogging up a roster spot that could be used for someone who could.

I have a gut feeling IF Smith comes back close to 100% a lot of people are going to surprised about what he can do. Before the injury he was getting open and making plays

Tre' Smith has never impressed me. He has disappointed me though running sloppy routes. It's his second year and before he got hurt he finally caught a couple of passes. If he returns to form then he'll still be a developing WR. He has not proven anything on the field yet. So, this is the guy so many people are pinning their hopes on to get us another Lombardi? I don't see him making an impact this year going on his progression so far. Maybe next year. But that's just me.

I've been wrong plenty of times and crow tastes good with Cajun seasoning.
