Worst math I've ever seen

Cynthia Frelund, who does analytics for NFL.com, is one of the worst I've ever seen. Look at her playoff percentages video and tell me something doesn't feel off with a lot of them. There is obviously something missing from her calculations. For example, she gives us a 78% chance of making the playoffs. In comparison, a website that does better statistical evaluation fivethirtyeight.com, gives us a 78% chance......... for a first round bye. Heck, we may have had close to a 78% chance to make the playoffs before the season started. How the hell did she get hired?

Lol, I'd say the odds of that would be fairly high.

Re: Worst math I've ever seen

Five Thirty Eight has group chats every week. The last two they didn't discuss the Saints, but Neil Paine and some of the other writers have been giving us mad props for depth and have argued we are the best team in the NFC.

After weeks of hyping up Minnesota, they finally admitted last week that not only are the Vikings overrated but the entire NFC North is a crap division dominated with one team benefiting from it.

Cynthia Frelund and her simulation process has her .1 percentage points behind the most accurate "experts" on Pickwatch, a site which compiles weekly picks from all across media. She was the only person that picked the Saints over Chicago and Dallas on NFL Network.

Re: Worst math I've ever seen

The worst analytics are for the sleeperbot fantasy football leagues. One of my friends forced us to use it because they did not like the ads on yahoo or some bs like that. Every week it claims every team is 80%+ to win at some point. You will be tied with opponent with 2 players to go and they have 1 and it will say you are 95% to win.

California schools are fine. I think they are higher ranked than Louisiana. Many of our players like Cam Jordan and Andrus Peat went to college in california. Most of the computers, processors, operating systems, web browsers, etc involved in making and doing and debating all these analytics were designed in california. There is no reason to turn one person from who knows where underestimating the saints into criticizing education in california.

Then you got so many parts of the country, including Louisiana that bases their education and curriculum off the bull they teach in California.

Re: Worst math I've ever seen

Here's some simple math:
If we win the next two games we win the division.
