Not a good day. Our 40 year old QB looks like a 40 year old QB.... Offense completely out of sync, defense getting ripped to pieces.

If Atlanta had a defense, they would be a 6-2 type team given how good Ryan has been playing all season. I knew this was going to be a tough game. That 1-7 record is as deceiving as out 1-4 starts a few years back when Brees was putting up MVP numbers and the defense was trash.

You mean out 40yo QB is playing like his o-line is on the sidelines?

The panic is setting in a little too quickly on the forum.

Just need to stay within a score at half, we get the ball

Ginn made the first positive play by a WR not named Thomas...

Has this team not earned at least a little trust from us?

There’s that TE, what’s his name...

Of course rez. I actually prefer when we dont get out tok much in first half. We have a habit of relenting

Clapp is in the game.

He had Thomas open down field on a sack and when he threw those 2 checkdowns to Line.

They finally got it together after going down by 10.

I am way more concerned and panicked about Lattimore walking to the locker room than the rest of these yahoos playing like jackazzes.

We are bye-week flat. :bng:

It’s the lack of urgency, intensity they’ve shown till this drive...

STOP WITH THE CHECKDOWNS. THROW THE BALL DOWN FIELD.

We played for a field goal instead of a TD. That's a bit disappointing.

Nothing disappointing about getting the ball after half and having a shot at evening her up

To be fair, penalties killed that drive. I'll take the points for now. They have the half to get their **** together and come out ready.

Lutz is back, and despite that sh*t show effort, we’re only down 7 and we get the ball to start the second half...

Aye Mommie, bring me a cerveza, por favor...

I hope he hadn't tweaked that hamstring. Saw him on the stationary bike right before half.

Yeah penalties are killing us today. We look as sloppy as we did after a week off going into the divisional playoff game.

Within a score at half is what mattered most

That’s right, Welcome to the Saints-Falcons Rivalry, Rookie! (McCoy)...

Need to stop with the checkdown passes and start carving them up down field though. That's how teams have worked over the Falcons secondary all year. Attack them down field and over the middle.

Re: Saints vs. Falcons Game Day Thread

Big opportunity now for Will Clapp. Can he step up or will the interior pressure get worse?

Well WR's not named Mike Thomas will need to get open first.

Tre'quan Smith continues to be a no show, even when he's on the field.

Saints really need another play maker opposite Thomas. Cook is playing well but that's about it excluding MT.

We could be better off if Peat doesn't return. He played about as poorly as a interior lineman could play.

Smith with those big drops... continues to question why we put so much faith in him.

Finally a throw down field but Ginn can't catch.
