i thought we were gonna lose?

Some of ya'll give up too easy.

4 quarters. Throw records out the window vs Divisional opponents.

A W is a W.

Should have never been that close... this team has a lot of work to do, the penalties have to stop

A great win today. We had to overcome the Panthers, the refs, and Roger.

Again.

GREAT win today. We are a great team to be able to overcome a quality team AND the league.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Saints, celebrate as they should today.

Tomorrow, thoughts to AF.

Tough week. Short week or long week depending on how you look at it for Saints.
Thursday primetime at AF in Atl.

Yes a W is a W.
Nerve ending typical Saints game.
Omg.

Great long passes by Brees to receivers. I liked that.

Gnight all

I learned today not to give up. We won and that is what matters. We did it with a terribly officiated game too

Re: Saints vs. Panthers Game Day Thread

The officiating crew today was horrible. The Defense was ok, but PJ Williams needs to go. Is Crawley still available? The Offense did well. On to Atlanta.

The penalties aren’t legit.

Crawley even worse. He holds on every play.

It's pretty obvious.

And not just this game either.

PJ Williams shut down Mike Evans last week. The expectations for a backup CB are crazy.

Re: Saints vs. Panthers Game Day Thread

Anybody think we dont need a #2 receiver. Cook had a really nice game, however;

Multiple drops again by Ginn - one was a long TD that could have ended the game essentially

Tre'Quan giving zero effort for that Pass that was picked, bad throw by Brees also

Where is Kirkwood?

I agree. Hopefully Kirkwood will come back soon and surprise us. What about Emmanuel Butler? Why not bring him up? Also, Dez Bryant is out there. Bring him in.

Saints play Atlanta Thanksgiving. That is a short week and we still don't have their new coaches philosophy yet. We must be better prepared on a short week.

We will be ready. Whether we can overcome the biased officiating is another story...

Julio Jones also left with a shoulder injury. A short week works against them too if he’s not healthy.

Hes going to cost us a game soon enough, hes dropped a big pass in a lot of games this year.

Cowboys - tipped a pass which got picked
Bears - Teddy fires deep - Ginn Drops
This game - Brees' best pass of the season in my opinion, dropped

Nailed it Chris.
Leaguewide, PJ is a decent #2 CB but a good #3 CB.

Re: Saints vs. Panthers Game Day Thread

PJ had PLENTY of help last week and we played a LOT of zone that kept Jameis confused.

DD comes to play every single week. Arguably our best player on D this year.

Mike needs to avg 8 catches in the last 5 games for the record.

Lutz is money, with the ball being on the left hash, he did what he needed to do.
If he tried to split the upright’s, it probably gets blocked. They crashed the left side of our line. Same reason Panthers missed kick. Davenport right down the middle.

Slye "ALMOST MADE IT!!"

Lutz "ALMOST MISSED IT"

All that REALLY MATTERS IS Saints WON!

Re: Saints vs. Panthers Game Day Thread

Think what you want but we beat a team fighting for their season today. They were essentially knocked out of the playoff race today and we essentially won the division. We are 9-2, wasn't the prettiest, but it is a W.

Talking bout money how bout Slye and the family of no stones, if he gets canned let me know we should pick him up for a full back. Him and macroid have to be working it together
