I criticized his play, justifiably. He wasn't getting pressure or making plays. Early in this season he looked great and I was vocally supportive. When he plays well I'm gonna say it. If he disappears for multiple games I'm gonna say it.

XLIV CHAMPS

Two weeks ago, I'm right here. You want to go back and look at his stats during the time I criticized him? Just like early on this year I said he was playing great.

I also said his 34% of plays was a message to get him playing well. Looks like I was right

He wasn't doing that from about week 5 . The last two games, after being basically benched, he has picked it up again. He was sent a message and it worked

He wasn't benched Spk. Go back and read DA and Sean P explanation in the Carolina game. Each week the opponent is different and you game plan accordingly. Rotation is key.

I'm not here to debate MD. He's been good more than not all season long.

A coach never says that **** in public bro. Since when does a coach ****non a player in public. Very very infrequent. That is inhouse ****. He was benched!! It was a message which is why he has been quiet with his play and since then , the last two weeks he woke up and started playing like he did early this season.

Go back and look what I said. I said he was sent a message and i bet his play picks up. Bam, it has

Saints are simply not executing on offense tonight.

Realistically the Saints should be up 44-9.

So clearly the refs don't know what is and what isn't pass interference

The only facts are he was benched to send a message and that is exactly why his play has been better the last two weeks.

Everything I said has happened. He was sent a message, play better or we wont play you. He responded. Good on him. He cost two first round picks. He better

They do
They are just pissed at the extra scrutiny from the Championship game and the rule change

But, Davenport looked great early on, and looks good the last two games. We need it, he is saint player, so we are all pleased with how he is playing. Glad to see it

He still splitting those snaps with Trey, there was a whole series or two he wasn't in on its rotation

Precisely.

That challenge and subsequent PI reversal last week on us was a slap in the face to Sean Payton.

Bro, I'll go and look, but he is not playing 33% of the plays again. That was a message.

Why would DA and Sean feel the need to lie about a benching

Yep
They've been terrible all over the league, no doubt Saints are being officiated differently though. Doesn't excuse the sloppy undisciplined play at times though

You dont put that in the public. Very infrequent that happens. Players get it, message quietly sent. And he has responded.

Coaches lie all the time boss. Sorry if you dont realize that, and I'm not being a smart ass. They lie or keep **** internal all the time

Avoid criticism like I've been making, don't blame Davenport, blame the rocket scientists who spent two first round picks on a guy that won't be used some games because of gameplanning...

Got a few guys icing up after this game.

The offense needs to play a lot better if they expect to compete vs the Niners next Sunday. A much better opponent than these Failures.
