Murray appears to be the complete back the saints have been needing. Why not trade AK at the end of the season for a ton of picks. AK has an amazing skill set but has been shut down for most of the year. I’m almost certain we could get at the least a rd1 and 2 for him. Now, before y’all call me stupid I want you to understand I love AK, I just love my saints more.

Multiple high pics. Murray has 3-5 more good years and we would have to pay AK a ton in just 2 years. No doubt AK is a great player but he will demand that money. Why not give Brees a few more weapons and draft his replacement with the picks?

I don’t think of it as Murray being the future... but Kamara’s been very disappointing. He’s eligible for a contract extension after this season and if he’s looking to be the highest paid RB, I’d trade him.

We scored over 30 on the best defense in the league. Our offense isn’t to blame. It took them pulling off two trick plays to win. That doesn’t happen again. We can beat these guys when it counts.


As far as Kamara goes he was looking great until his injury. I think he’s still hurt.

Yep, even the announcers mentioned it. SF pulled every trick out of the hat. That’s what it took to win today. Still the defense has my stomach upset. They looked lost in the first half.
I’m just glad we got this loss out of the way and not come playoff time.

AK is being schemed by every good defense.

The outside in the flat dropoffs were going nowhere today
And only Murray was making it up the middle

Ak had that one burst / hurdle play
He is wearing down when he has to pound through linemen

Keep him fresh then push AK more when the d’s are gassed in the second half

This is a good point. I hate that it took until this late in the season to become obvious that Kamara isn’t an every down RB because it’s too late to bring in somebody else to help. I hated going into the season with only three RB’s for this very reason.

And why didn’t we just use Taysom as TE when Cook went down. He is more than capable and we have Teddy so it’s not like there is a risk there as far as losing your backup QBs.

Understand. It doesn't matter what play we call. It doesn't matter who's number is called. The refs are going to control the game. Period. That's what happened today and it will continue to happen. We have to play the other team AND we have to play the refs. We were the victim of PI repeatedly today. No calls. Roger has ruined the NFL.

Lack of using a bull RB 2nd half who was absolutely gashing a #1 ranked defense is mind boggling. Are you really gonna outrun the Niners to the edge? The middle of their D was suspect yet we don't capitalize by exploiting a weakness.

You know what was ironic. As the second half progressed and the 49ers started getting more aggressive I was begging at the TV for a screen, and not sure that we ever called one. We ruined the screen game by calling them at silly times in the first half and losing major yardage.

You might be glad we have AK before the season is over. He has been and probably still is injured. Payton uses him like a battering ram....of course he was going to get hurt.
