The Whiners Game

Listen people. That game was fixed. Their long TD early...should have been PI on them but not called. The call on Garnder-Johnson that gave them a let TD was complete Bull****. I still pull for the Saints. I always will, but the NFL has become as rigged at the NBA ever was. Roger is clearly pulling the strings in favor of the markets that he feels generate more revenue because the league is driven by TV add dollars.

It's not even up for debate. The NFL is rigged. If you disagree you're an idiot. Sportsmanship be dammed. I'd pull my team from the field when this happens again next week on Monday night, and rest assured it will happen again. Enough of this bull****. SOMEbody needs to take a stand and call Roger on this fake bull****.

The Saints are more profitable for Roger than some of these big market teams.

Yep. It doesn’t mean the teams the NFL doesn’t want to go to the Super Bowl CANT win it, they just make damn near impossible. If anyone else gets there it’s because they were able to overcome a barrage of adversity.
I will say I thought today’s officiating could have been worse compared to most. Something is very wrong when one can say that like it’s expected and accepted.

The NFL starts with the strength of schedule and then hands out ****ty bye weeks, short weeks, and travel distance to put teams they don’t see as money makers in the worst possible position to win. Then comes the officiating.

Wouldn’t surprise me if next year we had to travel to one end of the country to the other every week, get the London AND Mexico game, and get a bye scheduled for preseason game 2.

It’s all about the narratives and TV ratings.

The NFL has no legal duty to field a fair playing field. They are designated as sports entertainment just like pro wrestling.

How bout somebody on D make a play besides Vonn Bell, and we would be celebrating a win.

We did make plays. And we were flagged for them.

Officiating wasnt so bad at first, but like in the nfccg it wasnt either until later in the game and its not as much of them being flag happy as it is not calling anything when they should. 49ers though i believe targeted cook on that td, even though it was flagged. Cook was on verge of burning them to a point they would of never been in the game.

The refs made the calls late in the game that needed to be made to keep SF in the game. Not even up for debate. That much is clear.

Re: The Whiners Game

Sean Payton and Dennis Allen aided to the L.

Both were pretty suspect today with their play calling. Going for 2 early in the game, using AK instead of a freight train Murray on 3rd and short/not converting and that ridiculous fake punt were colossal momentum changers in a tight ball game.

No way should we have allowed Jimmy f*n Garrapolo to go 75 yards in 53 seconds on us the way he did today.

Re: The Whiners Game

This game was the least slanted against us - but still slanted.

The push off deep score

The holding on the stupid fake punt play

The unnecessary roughness where the receiver puts his hands on his head to get the call

Other games - no- there was a huge amount of 11 on 18

Re: The Whiners Game

officiating wasnt as bad but enough to sway it, 49ers aided it when they took out Cook, that was their poison.

If we see the 49ers again, I am certain they going to have good adjustments especially against Bosa.

Im curious also was their ever a holding call against San Fran O-line?

They refs hate us I tell ya'. Actually, the refs don't like us and our coach for calling them out publicly. Roger hates us because Payton won't bow down to Der Kommissar and his policies.

Not one holding call, which is BS as their centre or LG wrestled our DT to the floor on the Sanders TD.

Those of you who don't think Goodell hates us, I just want to give you a reminder. He hasn't forgotten.

Whiner players are good actors; remember the Saints-SF game (Kaepernick was their QB)?

The Saints were down one score and attempted a Hail Mary pass, (that Jimmy Graham caught for a TD) and a 9er player flopped because he felt JG put his hands on him and the Saints were flagged for OPI and lost the game.

I wish Tommy Lee Lewis had done that in the NFCCG, there were no flags until the 9ers player did that. Then miraculously came back in the game.

The hail Mary pass you mentioned, that was Jimmy Ward who still plays for them. When Taysom ran over their LB and celebrated, Ward flopped like Taysom had hit him, trying to draw a flag.

I hope its not played in New Orleans TBH.

I think we can win on grass, we seem to be pretty damn dominant on it this year.

Re: The Whiners Game

This team should feel confident even after that loss. Oline did an excellent job keeping Brees off the turf. Bosa outside of 2 splash plays was held in check. SF won a game with 50% trickery. Not sure if they can count on that going FWD. We played a real football game , calling plays that gonna take us far when it really counts. Sean gonna ask himself though, what would Belichick do in this situation. Anyone watching that game knew going for 2 at that moment was not the right move. I could see if before going for the fake punt he alerted the refs to watch for holding on this. If not, dumbest call in his tenure. Those calls gave SF hope.
I read that Sean compared M. Williams’s skill set to Ed Reeds’. That’s an insult to Ed. Marcus does just enough to not hurt his team in most games. He rarely makes plays to change the game in our favor. For every good play he makes, he makes one boneheaded play to question him actually being here. That was another loser play to end that game.
Going forward we need to play smart disciplined football. Don’t leave it up to the league or Refs. Full throttle the rest of the way. Take no mercy.
We’ll be fine as long as we stay out of our own way.

Re: The Whiners Game

There is no way to sugar coat it, Marcus Williams played poorly vs San Fran and it cost us. CGJ looked like a rookie, Eli was targeted & torched, PJ looked like PJ.. etc.

Not sure what Williams was doing on that bomb to Emmanuel Sanders. Bad positioning, no awareness ... just ugly. The secondary play is very suspect right now.

Guys on the back end must play better if we want to get to where we want to be in January.
