Hope we see SF in the playoffs

It took them playing their most complete game of the season and trick plays to beat us today and we were in it to the end. They threw their entire playbook at us. Other teams will see this tape and you can rest assured Payton hasn’t shown his full hand yet. They were playing like they had nothing to lose when in fact the #1 seed was on the line. That kind of thinking gets you in trouble this early in the seeding. You play games like these to win them, you don’t play games like they did until you are in the playoffs and actually have nothing to lose.

The refs will rig it in their favor. We have to play our best AND beat the refs too, and the refs can call whatever they want whenever they want, and they can choose not to call blatant fouls committed against us.

In other words, what's the point? I'll tune in every week because I'm dumb enough to remember when the league wasn't rigged. But it's rigged. It has never been more clear.

All we needed today to win was one of our injured linebackers. That's all it would have taken, and we would have won by multiple scores.

Plus Cook to be in the whole game, he was playing really well. Such a shame when he got took out due to the concussion! That IMHO was a game changer as it looked like SP would have had a lot of plays dialled up for him in the rest of the game. The 49ers D were struggling to stop Cook as well, he would have definitely got us some more points if he could have carried on playing.

It’s tough to beat the same team twice in the same season. We beat Carolina 3 times in ‘17. Each game got tougher and tougher. But because we were the better team, we came out on top all three times. ‘18 we blew out Philly in the reg season and came within an Alshon Jeffery’s drop to losing the 2nd time around . SF with all their trick plays ain’t gonna cut it again. We know what our offense and Drew is capable of. This loss will light a fire. You saw it in Coaches eyes and voice during his presser.
That frustration is not a good thing for those visiting Colts Monday night.

All I know is that we shouldn't lose a game the rest of the year including playoffs.

If the defense plays like it did yesterday we’ll be lucky to win another game . I’m not upset anymore about the loss. Why, because we all saw it coming. NFL teams can’t play as undisciplined as we have ALL season and expect it not to bite back sooner or later.
Every game we’ve played this season, the team have given their opponents hope. We kinda gloss over it when the outcome is a W.
I challenge anyone to look back on our season and can honestly say you weren’t on the edge of your seats towards the end. Something had to give sooner or later. The nerve rattling , drama filled, stress inducing endings gotta cease.
My drinking has increased because of it.

This is nothing new, weve been unable to put a game away for years.

Our team relies on jumping out to a big lead, because sooner or later the other team begins torching us and clawing back.

It happened vs Texans, Seattle, Bears, Falcons, Panthers and that's just this season.

I'm sick of seeing the D blow a late lead, DA's defense is okay but cracks when it really matters.

hard disagree. dennis allen cannot hang with shanahan. like not even a little bit. encouraging to see our offense dice up that defense but i'd much rather play someone else in the playoffs

Agreed.

After having 11 days off, the defense was not prepared.

SP must call a better game IF we are lucky enough to get back to the NFCCG. Shanahan called trick and gimmick plays to perfection. Apple getting rubbed off on those misdirection plays. Not sure what he (Allen) was thinking about on that 4th and 2 lining up a STUD TE with one on one coverage with a rookie. Kyle Shanahan did his homework, targeted weak points and completely dismantled us. Hell I'm with you, I don't want to see the Niners again. We don't match up well against that group.

Dennis Allen has a lot of work to do and to clean up defensively.
