Crowd noise nearly caused a disaster on 4th-and-2 play during 49ers-Saints, says Kyle Shanaha
"I called a play that had '14' in it, but it sounded a heck of a lot like '15.' ... You just couldn't hear it. So that stuff was happening a lot, and for him to just still keep his poise, and try to fix things a lot in the game, he kept our guys pretty cool the whole time."
Shanahan confirmed that the difference between '14' and '15' in the play call could have led to an offensive disaster. https://www.49erswebzone.com/article...ints-shanahan/ |

I read Niner OT Joe Staley said that they went silent count the entire game. Most time he said they reacted off movement of the line.
I'm paraphrasing here but he basically said ".... it was so loud in there I couldn't hear s***". Saints crowd & "12th man" did their part ... oh well. |

Yep, we brought the noise, unfortunately the defense couldn't bring the pressure. Jimmy G had all day to throw except for 3 times.
