Keep in mind div winners come before everything. That’s why a sorry NFC East team will be locked in the 4 seed.
1. Div winners
2. Head to Head
3. Conference win%
and so forth all the way down to a coin flip.

If SEA and SF split head to head wins. Then win % within their div comes next.
We can’t afford for SF to win their div because we lost to them.
Our biggest challenge for the #1 seed is GB because we haven’t played them and they have a better conference win%.

SF vs SEA week #17 is gonna be huge

As far as I can tell... If we win out we’re pretty much guaranteed the 1 or 2 seed. We need the Vikings to beat the Packers next week for sure.

We need to win tmr. Our defense looked like the worst in the league last week. I wouldn’t trust that effort against anyone.

And on the flip side we made their #1 ranked defense look like the second worse defense in the league. I bet their defensive meeting was pretty hairy Monday.
I would love to have been a fly on the wall.
Plus they have to feel like pretty big pieces of **** after today’s loss.
This is the part of the season when Garoppolo and that young defenses inexperience starts to show.

I believe we will be above the Seahawks and there fore number 1 seed. If the Seahawks manage to win their division and we win out, we will be number 1 seed period.

That's not correct. If we win out and the Packers win out, we will be number three. If we all win out and the Seahawks win their division, we will be number 1 as we hold the tie break over Seattle.
