IF you haven't already, better organize your videos and make mental notes, for we shall not likely see his type again...

In 1984, I started a VHS library of Celtics/Larry Bird games (regretfully lost in H. Katrina); because my Dad said we wouldn't see this kind of all-around player every again and he was absolutely right...

Somebody has to catch the ball and nobody finds the open receiver better than Drew. We don't need superstars besides MT. We need players who can run a clean route and catch the damn ball. Drew doesn't throw his receivers open like he used to but I believe it's on the players not getting separation. I'm not blaming Drew.

Incidentally, our O-line has been make shift and not allowing time in the pocket to go trough his progressions. We also haven't had a good TE for quite some time and that is Drews favorite check down valve when the pressure is on. I admit his passes are shorter but they are deadly accurate and he can still place the ball deep occasionally.

That "make shift" line has four players that rank in the top ten in the entire league at their positions.
