I don't care much about Pro Bowl anymore. I'm starting to treat it with the same kind of indifference I usually reserve for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Let's just get another pennant; this XLIV one on my wall is looking kind of lonely.

If they played real football at the Pro Bowl then I might start watching again. I used to watch it but it is so watered down I'd rather watch paint dry. I'll probably turn the game on but I won't be glued to the TV like I would for a Saints game. The Pro bowl is flat out boring....preseason games are much more exciting than the lifeless crap seen at that game.

I know most of us could care less about the Pro Bowl but to me Vonn Bell had an PB season.

Demario Davis not named, and Drew Brees, having essentially played just eight games, IS.

The pro bowl stopped having any significance a long time ago. It means absolutely nothing. In a few weeks, 50 more players will have been named to the pro bowl, because no one even wants to play in it.

Players care about it because many of them have Pro Bowl incentives written into their contracts.

Hopefully there won't be any Saints playing in the Pro bowl because they'll be getting ready to play for the Lombardi. I guess the reserves will be thrilled though just to get in. It looks good on their resume.

Being named All-Pro is real recognition. The pro bowl names so many players, due to no one wanting to play in the game, that it is too watered down to mean anything.

Sure, it's a proverbial pin you get to wear on your jacket, but that's about it.
