When asked by a fan on Twitter whether he’d consider reuniting with the Cowboys, Bryant responded, “Yep for next year,” before listing squads he’d be interested in joining such as the Saints, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs. Naturally, all of those teams are positioned to compete for a Super Bowl title.

We don't need another pure possession guy or someone with advanced years like Dez. I wish like hell we could draft CeeDee Lamb. We need a serious YAC guy like that to make defenses worry to take the pressure off Michael Thomas.

For the life of me, I just don't understand why anyone would be opposed to having another THREAT in this offense. Specifically in the red zone.

Ginn and Tre ain't scaring anyone. At least JCook has shown up and taken some heat off CGM as of late.

I'm not opposed to having another threat. But when we do these speculations, I do tend to be kind of picky on who we should get. I'd rather not see a stopgap - IMO it's too late for this season to add someone, we should do it with next season in mind. CGM is so good it's gonna take a pretty talented dude to be the threat to take pressure off of him. We need someone who can be the Reggie Wayne to CGM's Marvin Harrison.

All we need is someone who can beat 1 on 1 coverage more consistently than Tre’Quan Smith and Ted Ginn. Jared Cook can do it. Alvin Kamara can do it. I believe Dez Bryant can do it and in similar fashion to Thomas in regards to slants and digs. If he’s improved his route tree in his time off he could be very dangerous with all the focus elsewhere.

I suppose there is a way it could work with Dez. Basically, he would have to do what Dwight Howard has for the Lakers this year - be in outstanding condition, still athletic enough to hold his own (unlike Witten this year, with all due respect), totally check his ego/baggage in at the door, be a total role player and be able to acclimate to a sophisticated offense very quickly. It's just an awful lot to have to go right for a guy we haven't seen for 2 years.

Father Time is catching up to Dez, in NFL years that is.
But maybe not before a Super Bowl run.

We still got 35 yr old Tedd Ginn, be hard to imagine Dez not being able to produce to some degree as a #2 or #3. Hell Taysom Hill would be a good option at WR more consistently.
