Might have to miss the game
 

I haven’t missed a whole game since the Saints played the 49ers 5 years ago when I was in Costa Rica for my honeymoon. I have NEVER missed a minute of a playoff game.
We are going to Vegas and will be on a plane back to New Orleans during Sunday’s game. In the game day chat I usually see links to “other ways” of watching the game. Do those links work on phones or only laptop/desktops?
I can get internet on the plane so no worries there. In the past I’ve used the NFL app on my phone to watch games but I’m not counting on it because game availability is based on your current location. Help!!! I’m seriously thinking about canceling the trip if not.

All playoff games are nationally televised games. Since there's no blackout anywhere, nothing about location should be a problem.

nflbite.com has worked well when I've used it. I would put a VPN in place though before accessing.

You may want to confirm this, but I think GoGo does not permit video streaming on their in flight internet service.

I watched the game yesterday off nfl mobile app, thought it was a paid service or they only did highlights.

This. And, it does depends on the airline. You might get a flight that has the networks tho. I've watched games like that before, but that was on Virgin. I'm not what is offered on AA.

Yea I just found out about the mobile app when we played Tampa this last time.

We decided to bring our laptop. I’m going to drop some coin on the Saints in Vegas and stay here on live chat during the game. Hopefully at the very least I’ll get it on the app since it’s National.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the airline blocked it somehow, could you imagine a plane full of Saints fans all watching the game as they head back to the city? Pilots won’t be able to hear themselves think.

I'm taking my nephews to Wizard World Comic Con on Sunday. And before you say anything, I had tickets a couple of years ago when we played the Panthers and the Saints won. So, there is a precedent set.


And yes, by taking my nephews to Comic Con I mean I am going and they are coming along.

Cancel the trip. Either that or you're gonna have to become a HAM radio operator on the fly. It can be done but it's not for the faint of heart. I can help you but first you have to calm the hell down.
