Although he was #3 on the Bucs depth chart, he still managed to have a very solid season. Can separate, high points the ball and is not afraid to do the dirty work. Although the Bucs somewhat checked out towards the latter part of the season ... Breshard continued to give 100% with big plays. Amari, AJ, Robbie etc ... a lil too costly. |

Only one in Tier 1 is Amari Cooper, whom I don't trust... I'd put Emmanuel Sanders as the top guy in Tier 2, with A.J. Green behind him... Cobb or Amendola, as the WR-Slot, would be appealing and the way I'd geaux, but most teams won't pay a slot receiver, which is a huge mistake... You could have an experienced guy underneath who knows how to drag, crawl, stretch for that all-important, difference-making, extra yard... Then you can draft a fast, young buck to haul *ss on go routes, stretching that field for Mike Thomas and Jared Cook, and the underneath guy as the release opposite Kamara... Of all of them, I think Amendola, after having success with the Pats, and playing on several sh*tty teams, may be at the point he'd like to go out with a contender, but he's 34 yo... |
Re: 2020 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
Amari will remain a cowboy, Robbie will be too expensive and I hope we stay away from a 34 year old slot WR in Amendola.
I'm looking forward to a #2, 3 WR sign in NO without all of the "hype". Younger, faster, stronger. |

WalterFootball.com 2020 NFL Free Agents: Top 100
Some of the names who popped out at me from this list... 1. https://walterfootball.com/images/fb...intsb_logo.gifDrew Brees, QB, Saints. Age: 41. One of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, Drew Brees is listed ahead of Tom Brady in the free agency rankings pages because he played much better than his future Hall of Fame counterpart in 2019. Granted, Brees had a better supporting cast, but the disparity between the two was vast. 13. https://walterfootball.com/images/fb...iotsb_logo.gif Joe Thuney, (L)G, Patriots. Age: 27. Joe Thuney has developed quite well since being a third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has become an elite pass protector. Thuney can improve in run blocking, but he still deserves a massive contract. 19. https://walterfootball.com/images/fb...kinsb_logo.gifBrandon Scherff, (R)G, Redskins. Age: 29. Brandon Scherff is a very talented guard, but he's had trouble staying healthy. He's missed 13 games over the past two seasons, so he comes with huge risk with his massive reward. 30. https://walterfootball.com/images/fb...consb_logo.gifAustin Hooper, TE, Falcons. Age: 25. Austin Hooper is a highly athletic tight end who has improved exponentially in each of his four NFL seasons. He won't even turn 26 until October, so the sky is the limit for him. 52. https://walterfootball.com/images/fball/bearsb_logo.gifNick Kwiatkoski, LB, Bears. Age: 27. Danny Trevathan got hurt during the season, but it didn't matter very much because Nick Kwiatkoski stepped in and played on a high level. He'll be entering just his fifth year in the league, so there's definitely reason to believe he could continue to improve. 63. https://walterfootball.com/images/fball/lionsb_logo.gifGraham Glasgow, G/C, Lions, Lions. Age: 28. Graham Glasgow improved markedly in 2019, becoming a stout blocker for the Lions' interior offensive line. Glasgow can play both center and guard very well, so he'll be highly sought after on the open market. 66. Taysom Hill, QB/WR, Saints. Age: 30. Taysom Hill looked like just a gadget player a couple of years ago, but he was fantastic in the previous preseason, showing the ability that he could one day become New Orleans' starting quarterback. 78. https://walterfootball.com/images/fb...boysb_logo.gifMaliek Collins, DT, Cowboys. Age: 25. Maliek Collins puts good pressure on opposing quarterbacks in the interior of the trenches. He'll be just 25 in April, so there's a chance he'll make a big leap in production. 79. https://walterfootball.com/images/fb...ingsb_logo.gifMackensie Alexander, CB, Vikings. Age: 26. Minnesota's secondary struggled in 2019, but don't look at Mackensie Alexander, who did well in the slot once again. 82. https://walterfootball.com/images/fball/Bucsb_logo.gifCarl Nassib, DE, Buccaneers. Age: 27. Carl Nassib is just a mediocre pass rusher, but he's been excellent in run support. Nassib turns 27 in April, so he could improve his pass-rushing ability. 95. https://walterfootball.com/images/fball/Bucsb_logo.gifBreshad Perriman, WR, Buccaneers. Age: 26. Breshad Perriman had been a major bust throughout his career, but he caught fire late in 2019, finally emerging as a the dynamic threat the Ravens thought they were getting when they chose him in the opening round of the 2015 NFL Draft. |

I'd like not to spend money on him for the sake of spending what Loomis can squeeze out of available cap space; I'd rather rework/beef up the offensive line, add an edge defender and/or another DB... |
