I'm not real worried about two college coaches being successful in their first couple of years.
Brady might not look as good with Newton or Allen as he did with Burrow

To walk into a Big-Time program, with careers (Ed Orgeron) on the line, install a completely new offense/identity was huge...

Then to win the Heisman, break the single season PaTD college mark, first team with a 4000PaYD, two (2) 1000 ReYd WRs, a one (1) 1000 RuYds RB...

15-0, National Championship, well, I'd say Brady is the goods...

Even more disturbing was we let him go and Payton even admitted he thought LSU was making a mistake, but what did he know...

It’s not like Carolina or Atlanta had bad teams...they just had injuries and didn’t play up to their expectations. We aren’t way better than either of those teams.

Not really after he started experiencing adversity - he turned into a turnover machine.

I believe what Payton actually admitted was that he thought Brady was the one that was making the mistake, not LSU. Brady took a gamble on a career move and it paid off big time.

With Brady gone to Carolina, I wonder if 2 Glove Teddy B ends up as Panther?

There you go again, using facts when it's so easy to "COULD'A WOULD'A SHOULD'A and WHAT IF."

"WE" let Pace get away too. Imagine if the MICKSTER had traded up to get Trubisky instead of Mahomes or Watson!

Well, that's part of the rookie process; teams got film on him, figured what he was doing and he and his offensive coaching staff failed in adjustments...

But he showed he can get it done; and I suspect their injuries and talent drought at WR had a lot to do with his later struggles...

Either way, Carolina has two (2) promising QB prospects that will now have Joe Brady to work with now...
