Not concerned at all we laid an egg against the 2 win Falcons at home directly after a bye, were trailing against an inferior team at home in the playoffs last season before deciding to play...following it up with the same lack luster **** this year. I do feel good about that. BTW for all the injury crying..fact of the game. Every team is injured. If you dont think we are taking a step back next year you lost your mind.
Coming into this past season the Saints were deemed to have one of the toughest schedules in the league. This coming season we are projected to have one of the easiest. If we address the WR2 and solidify the guard position I actually expect us to take a step forward. But, then again, I do not expect the worst like some. And, yes, injuries are a part of the game. But that doesn't make them meaningless. To think that they cannot be accounted for in the success or failure of a team is short-sighted. This topic has been discussed many times on NFL Radio. The health of a team is critical in its success. Sure, some injuries can be overcome if the team is lucky enough to have sufficient depth at that position, but no team has critical depth at EVERY position. That is where luck comes into play.
