Greg Olsen, Panthers parting ways

Should the Saints reach out to him?

He has been offered a job from FOX. That's why he retired. If the Saints wanted to reach out to him it would be to congratulate him on his new network job.

No, Hunter Henry from the Saints Farm System Chargers.

Yes, but he has stated his desire to remain with the Chargers. He'll be looking for a "pay me now" type of first contract renewal. He has also been injured for most of his career.

Seems we get TE's that do not have enough experience to catch a pass or TE's that caught the first pass thrown by Pontius Pilate.

How about a TE somewhere in the middle?

Olsen and his agent both said he'll be looking for a team after Sunday. He hasn't retired, and the "mutual" separation makes sense since he is not worth a $12,000,000 cap hit.

Hell yeah! I'd sign him in a heart beat. That would give us two really good TE's for Drew to use shorter passes across the middle. Cook and Olsen would be some serious s***!

Retired? He didn't retire, and has stated he still wants to play. He can take a job with Fox any time. You're only young enough to play once.

Greg still has interest in playing. He never retired.
