Onyemata had a breakout year in his first full season as a starter, forcing Sheldon Rankins into a sub-package role when Rankins returned in Week 4. He's quietly played over 50 percent of snaps the past three years. Onyemata is the anchor of a Saints run defense that was one of the best in the league in 2019. Even with their depth behind Onyemata, it'd be surprising if the Saints didn't bring him back.

Damn straight! This needs to get done Mr. Loomis! This young man just needed to learn the game since he had an extremely limited football background coming into the NFL.

Now he needs to learn the nuances of playing his position from an excellent D-line coach. There are a lot of good years ahead of this young man and I am looking forward to them!

This young man just needed to learn the game since he had an extremely limited football background coming into the NFL.
