It happened in slow motion. I can still hear the ball. You could physically feel The Curse dissipate up into the roof. I've been a Saints game, where we blew a 21 point lead in the 4th Quarter. I was the last person in the Dome to cheer, when Hartley's FG went thru the Girod St. Goalpost, because I was looking for flags or replay.
When Gleason blocked that kick, and Curtis DeLoach scooped the ball,
and dunked over the post, you knew it was the Game. We knew it. They knew it. Zero doubt. Miracle. Score. Crowd. Game. Win. The Curse was Over.
