Always consider the source. Ian Fullacrap. That said, he'll most likely work with Loomis however possible.

I think someone beat you to this one, JP.

See it now. Same story different source.

Another team friendly contract. Seems to me a couple of years back some folks were berating Drew for taking the fair market value while Tom Brady was taking less to add pieces to their Super bowl window. I guess it's Drew's turn now. Hopefully that means another Lombardi. :p

Within a year Drew's late contract was no more than average. He could have demanded more.

I'm hearing he is playing for 6 packs for 24 rolls of toilet paper.

Worth more than currency at this rate

Hm. From what I've seen on the grocer shelves this week, a roll of TP is rarer than the Hope Diamond. Brees may take that deal.

Call if "protection money". If Brees wants protection in the pocket he needs to leave some money on the table.

IF I'm Brees or Brees' agent, I want a seat at the table (and the Saints would be smart to oblige here) when building the offensive line (NFL Free Agency and/or Draft), in a quid pro quo of leaving money on the table...

One step further, by his own example of leadership and dedication, Brees has earned that level of respect from the Saints to be included and have weight in those offensive teammate personnel decisions...

Best example of a High Level of Trust in a franchise player is exemplified in the film North Dallas Forty based on the book by former Cowboy Peter Gent and adventures with his QB 'Dandy' Don Meredith...

Late in the film QB Seth Maxwell (Mac Davis) argues with Head Coach B. A. Strother (G. D. Spradlin), based on Tom Landry, to set aside pride and some draconian team rules in a key division late season game...

B.A. after some other failed decisions relents to his QB and lets the reliable hands of Phil Elliott (Nick Nolte) out of the dog-house and into a game-winning drive - this would be the Level of Trust I'm referring...

Brees? Rodgers? Robba the Hut has some thoughts, if not some hard feelings...

Brees is an all team guy.

Sean P, do him right and protect him up front (guard) and provide him with more weapons to throw to.

I want this man to get ring #2 ... badly.

And that's exactly who's been the wink link since getting tenure...
