Would Texans Trade DeShawn Watson?

As we debate our future with 3 free agent QBs much like Minnesota a few years ago, should we also consider a plan D like they did. Everyone assumes the Texans would not trade DeShawn Watson, but they seem to like trading pro bowl caliber franchise players for next to nothing. Would it hurt to ask? Kamara and our first rounder for Watson? Might not be the worst trade they made this week.

Your scenario assumes we lost Brees, Bridgewater, and Hill (debatable as a starter but strong backup regardless) your solution is to lose a 1st rounder AND Kamara? For DeShawn Watson ...?

As a fan base we may not realize it but playing for Sean Payton as a QB is a draw for talent.

1- trading Hopkins shows that Hou is all-in with DW
2- why would we trade for a backup to Brees?
3- why would we trade AK?

Who knows what is going on in the mind of Bill O'Brien.

Remember this is the same coach who traded Clowney to the Hawks for a 3rd rounder. Fast forward to now, trading an ELITE WR for a 2nd round pick and often injured RB? Man. You just don't "give" away receivers like that. If Bill truly believes that Stills and Fuller will make up for losing Hopkins, he needs to re think that.

I wouldn't put anything past this franchise going forward though.

Questionable moves ...

If the Texans want to move DeShawn Watson you pull the trigger and tell Drew Brees to hold the ****ing clip board and respect the changing of the guard.

Thank God that we have a family owned franchise with a well established front office that has a vision. Tom Benson took good care of the Saints and their fans. Meanwhile, Rita is a classy lady with a classy staff who make classy decisions. We have Jeff Ireland now and that has really helped us turn the corner brining in talented draft picks.

I don't know what the thinking is in Texas but it doesn't sound like they have a clue. Although, I thought the Texans looked good this year. Hey, what do I know? Absolutely nothing. Just sayin'.
