Sour grapes Brandon? Too bad he wasn't able to make any memorable contributions while on the Saints roster to help us win games.

And that dump on Emmanuel Sanders (calls him 50) at the end was silly. The guy still performs at a high level and will help us tremendously at WR. Did he not watch him in San Fran last season?

IDK, his analysis on the Saints seems a bit personal.

3 seasons with arguably the best team in the league, all resulting in 3 embarrassing playoff exits against teams we should have beat.

I think this year may be it... then after Brees, who knows. I am hopeful for Hill at QB, but that doesn't mean we have all the studs on defense still. Everyone talks about how the window is closing because of Brees, but there are other aging folks that may not perform at the same level, not to mention contracts that are coming up.

There is too much talent on this roster to say it's closed.

The window isn't closed but it's getting dark outside.

I'm gonna' have to disagree jp. If Sean Payton also coached defense then I would have to agree but he coaches offense. Does he hire the DC? My guess is that he has full autonomy and there might be a problem with that. The defense has failed us miserably the last few years but outside of GW we just can't field a good defense. Maybe we need to be looking closer at Dennis Allen.:doh:

This right here. Holding on to Bill Johnson, Vitt & McMahon years too long. That is on Sean Payton.

IMO Dennis Allen isn't getting done as DC either. Too many blunders late in ball games/playoffs that have cost us. Isn't his claim to fame in the secondary?

IDK, just not a fan of his defensive scheme.

If SP knows the NFL rulebook like BB, we run out the clock and go on to the next game at least twice. Maybe even win the SB twice.

Our run game his plenty poor this off-season...Kamara being hurt...etc Until Sean seems to be able to produce a winning team. I have no issues with him as the head coach. Y'all be so riled over nothing

We have gotten so good that we have forgotten that getting ito the Superbowl requires as much luck as skill.

We have had a lot of bad luck which I am reading should be addressed by replacing skill.

How is he an ex Saint WR. Never played and cut after a month. One of those bitter mighty has fallen players. We played some of our best football Breesless last year. Other injuries caught up to us in the end.

No one! That's who! He has his faults but he is a brilliant strategist and motivator that won a Super bowl here and takes us consistently to the playoffs. That ain't easy ya'll.

He needs someone to take the autonomy away and let our assistant GM, Jeff Ireland be involved in helping to find a new DC. He wasn't a good GM but he knows football. Loomis is a bean counter and I don't rely on his football experience in building the team. Someone needs to reign Payton's gambler ambitions in check.

He needs to run the ball more and become less predictable on early down and distance plays. There are a few things I'd like to see him do differently. But these are the characteristics that stand out the most to me. Still, I wouldn't want anyone else in charge of my Saints!:bng:
