OK so we drafted QB Tommy Stevens from Miss State because someone else was going to draft him and use him as a Taysom Hill copycat due to his athleticism. So Taysom will probably be full-time #2QB, Jameis full-time #3 QB, but Jameis has tons more NFL experience at QB then Taysom and, possibly, a better arm. So we could have 2 Taysom like players on the offense...

So now I'm confused, but best part is our division rivals are probably even more confused and they don't know what our new attack will look like this season, nor will they know how to defend against that attack.

Taysom will play RB/TE role. Money well spent for a guy who is excellent blocker, powerful runner, and solid TE... Almost forgot, teams also have to respect his passing game. Not wow thrower but can make all necessary throws.

I just kind of look at it as Jameis Winston is Drew’s backup and Tommy Stevens is Taysom Hill’s backup.

What killed our season last year was 1.) Kamara was 1/2 of himself and probably injured most of the season because we refused to run Murray in power plays, and overused Kamara early, 2.) dropped balls from every other receiver not named Michael Thomas - yes Brees hit Ted Ginn, and others, on the fly and they could not catch the ball - so not Brees' arm or age, 3.) Defense was banged up permanently after the San Fran game.

I understand Brees missed 5 games due to injury to his thumb but with the additions to offensive line with shuffling that should change the offensive line for the better.

If the Saints are so confident in Taysom Hill, why bring in Winston?
Would much rather another a young wide receiver with proven catching skills on deep balls.

Seriously, if we can find the roster space, it's not a bad idea to basically have 2 Taysom's, especially since we didn't draft a WR maybe Taysom will continue to see more snaps at that position.
