Found it, Beast.
What NFL Draft 2020 picks are doing with all of their extra hats Close friends and family of the top 2020 NFL Draft picks won’t need to go hat shopping for a long time. The NFL sent pre-draft care packages, including the hats of all 32 teams, to 57 prospects identified as possible first-rounders. That’s more than 1,800 hats distributed in order to capture a signature welcome-to-the-NFL moment that could have been missing in the virtual draft. Every time a new draft pick showed up on the television screen Thursday night already sporting his new team’s hat, there were 31 others discarded somewhere nearby. What happens to the extras? That decision is up to the player, NFL vice president of communications Brian McCarthy told The Post. The package also included the cameras used by prospects in their homes to film live reactions and interviews, but not a jersey for all 32 teams. Each first-round pick will receive the proper commemorative No. 1 jersey with his name on the back from the league at a later date, in addition to his official jersey and number from the team.
