Keep reading rubbish about a spite trade.
He saw a player he wanted, got word if he was a UDFA he would probably sign elsewhere so trading back in to snag him and not give him the choice.

That's not spite, that's a draft team doing their job

So we're going to keep 4 quarterbacks? Well 3 and Taysom?

I'd say its possible if Stevens performs. Sounds like him and Hill will be multi position players. See no issue if theyre playing ST/TE/WR/RB it's not really like 4 QBs

Yep, that's why we call it a Draft. 7th round picks drive that home. Choices only UDFAs have.

Unlikely, the 53 wasn't expanded and the spot is needed for depth in other places.

No, just two ... and Taysom and Stevens.

Exactly. Taysom and Stevens are depth at several other positions. It eliminates having that TE or LB that only plays on special teams.

Its a 55 man active roster now

Effective with the 2020 season, each NFL team may keep up to 12 players on its practice squad in addition to the 55-man active roster;effective with the 2022 season, the number of players on the practice squad will increase to 14
