That being said I don’t think Malcolm Jenkins really wants to play football anymore period.

You may see a few opt out. Not many. They will receive no pay and lose a year counted toward years played. That affects tons of their potential future benefits. I don't think many at all are concerned about contracting the virus since all other players affected have either been asymptomatic or experienced very mild symptoms. For every player that doesn't want to play there will be a hundred begging to take their place.
Besides, if you take precautions and those around you do the same there should be no issues. What's happening out there right now is being created by people that are too ignorant to take those precautions or to hang around those that are equally ignorant.
Oh, and by the way, Janoris Jenkins has not said anything about not playing due to COVID-19. You most likely read the headline on SB Nation without actually reading the stories.
Fleur-de-Links, June 26: Drew Brees and wife sponsor Black College HOF event, Janoris Jenkins not ready to return to football
The headline writer screwed up. The story was about Malcolm, not Janoris. There was a story in that link that mentioned Janoris, but nothing to do with COVID or not wanting to play. I've seen you post this mistake here before. I just wanted to help you get that straight.
