Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
Any of you whiskey drinkers? Anyone ever try that Sazerac whiskey he's got sitting there in the video? Let me know, I'm thinking about ordering some up here to Idaho.

It’s also made in Kentucky. Try Seven Three whiskey. It’s distilled here in New Orleans and is much better. I don’t know if they have a rye. |
Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
Not a whiskey drinker. Tried Proper No. Twelve recently. Liked it.

Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
D line at full strength? Hopefully that includes Sheldon Rankins.
He's already suffered 3 lower leg injuries in his short career. Rankins and Davenport are very good players ... when they play. We shall see. |

You want good whiskey? Check these out:
Wilderness Trail https://wildernesstraildistillery.com/ Barrell: https://www.barrellbourbon.com/ If you buy Monkey Shoulder you should try Bank Note 5 year Blended Whiskey. They use more malted barley than Monkey or Dewars and age a min of 5 years. |

Football...yes! Liquor...oh Hell yes! I like clan McGregor single malt scotch on the rocks or Bacardi gold Rum and pineapple juice if I'm looking for something sweet.

Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
Glenlivet 12 is tops for me. If you're not big on peat flavor, stay the f**k clear of laphroaig! I paid 50 for it so I forced myself to drink it,but wow...not a fan.
Tullimore Dew 12 or 18 is a fantastic Irish whiskey |

Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
Glenmorangie 12 Lasanta is definitely a steal @ $37 at a local Rouses if you can find it.
Trust. |
Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
Thanks everyone!
On a side note, it was kind of cool to talk about something that wasn't related to racism, politics, or even football mixed with those two things. That wasn't my objective, but it was nice. |

Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
If you like an Old Fashioned and are interested in a play on an Old Fashioned I highly recommend this. Not a drop of whisky but has the leather sofa, smokey back room, spicy taste of a good one. I have a small handcrafted cocktail bar not far from me that make this and it is amazing enough for me to source everything so that i can make it at home. Flaming an orange peal takes practice lol. The Mezcal gives it a peaty hint.
1 ounce mezcal (preferably Del Maguey Vida) 1 ounce blanco tequila (preferably Siembra Azul) 1/2 ounce Averna 1/4 ounce Royal Combier Garnish: 3 mists Angostura and a flamed orange peel And yes, Lophroaig will leave you thinking you had smoked brisket:beatnik: |
