Re: Saints: 3 names who could replace Sean Payton in the event of another postseason collapse
Dennis Allen? Dennis Allen is the reason for the postseason busts 3 years in a row. Why would anyone think that Allen would be a good replacement choice?
What about Pete Carmichael? He's as much an architect of the current Saints offense as Payton and Brees. SFIAH |

As long as Gayle Benson owns the team Sean Payton is going no where until he makes the call. There isn't a cooler seat in the league, like it or not. Belichick would be extremely close. Payton and Loomis are tied at the hips and Benson looks upon them both as her sons. Once again, like it or not.

As for the postseason, I understand a loss is a loss, but the Saints were a missed PI call from going to the Superbowl a couple of years ago, lost on a "Miracle" play just before that. Don't think Payton is the problem. I'm not tired of winning yet.

Same with 2011. Everyone acts like if we had beat SF we would have automatically made it to the SB. We would have still had to beat NY and Nobody was beating the Giants that year. |
