Anyone mind if I add to the list? Davenport.... Peat, Kamara, Peat, Brees, Peat, Cook, Peat.

Expecting more, yeah definitely expecting him to play more games per year than he currently does.

I think he's played thirteen games each year if memory serves me correctly. That's not a model of consistency but neither is Armstead and no one gives him flack.

I know a few people that give Armstead flack for his glass tendencies.
The unfortunate part is with the ransom that Payton paid for Davenport, that brings expectations. Armstead injury wise is brittle also, but he was a Third Round Pick if memory serves.

I've seen the potential from Davenport. If he ever puts it all together, he's an All-Pro and one of the best DEs in the league. One thing for sure is he needs to stay healthy. Besides that, he just needs to connect a few dots in his game and put it all together. The guy has an incredibly high ceiling; he's a freak of nature. He's an odd player to watch develop, because I think there is a very thin line between great and mediocre when it comes to him because he's such a physically talented guy with just a couple of small things stifling him. He just needs to find a way to get himself on the right side of that line.
