I read something earlier about some unnamed star players with asthma or sickle cell anemia leaning towards sitting out... it’s going to be a disaster folks. There isn’t going to be a season.

I agree. Backups and players trying to make a name for themselves at best. I don’t blame them. Even if they try you will have a big handful of players sit out every two weeks with the virus.

I will continue to keep expecting that there will be a season. Then again, I've never been one to expect the worst. I think it helps avoid the worst.

To be honest, with all of the planned protocols, which will likely be beefed up even more, they will be FAR more likely to contract COVID at the grocery store while wearing a mask and gloves than on the playing field or at practice. With daily testing nobody will be allowed into the facilities or the team hotel or the stadium that tests positive.

All over a virus with a 1% mortality rate (with some Covid-19 deaths attributed to the virus when there were other factors but I digress). But indeed, if a player has a disease like Sickle Cell Anemia or some form of lung disorder, it would be wise to avoid playing until we know more about this virus.

The NFL will likely have a season for their fat money hungry fingers. And only the geniuses making the rules would have the players have full contact games with sweat and saliva flying around just to say "No jersey swapping at the end of the games" to make it appear as though they care about the players.

Regarding Alex Anzalone, if there is a full season or even a partial season, I just hope that he's available for every game. Assuming that he doesn't have a compromised immune system.

I hope he can stay healthy this year. He’s a really good linebacker when healthy.

Those geniuses included the NFLPA. The trading of jersey ban was just one of a list of post and pregame activities they players association and the league came up with to minimize exposure. Every little bit is better than doing nothing.. They determined that any activities not crucial in playing the games should be eliminated for now. Makes sense.

Jersey swap becomes a non issue if they were to be sterilized and placed in sealed packaging prior to the game.
