I love Sean Payton for what he's done for this city and me personally, Payton signed and mailed my signed copy of his book "Home Team" first class after my cancer treatments when I couldn't find him after training camp. My twin brother and I went to his office where we left my copy and a note of how inspiring he was during my treatments when I would go down to the TV room with the big screen every Sunday.

He signed it to the rugby twins!

Sweet! My younger son met him at Six Flags in Dallas. He was there with his kids. This is was early on before winning it all. He spent ten minutes talking to this high school kid that played football (my son) and his friend while they were in line for a ride. I love him, too!

And congrats on your fight. I was very lucky and mine was caught extremely early in a routine exam and surgery was all I needed ... other than those damned colonoscopies for how ever long. And a hunk of missing "innard". ;)

Thanks Guido. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma 4-A, which at the time was the deadliest form of cancer. When I met with the UAB surgeon he told me that I was dead but I didn't know it because I was still up walking around. He then suggested that I get my affairs in order.

I looked at him with a smile and said you cant kill me! I play rugby! I never did have surgery but went with radical treatment instead. My oncologist wanted to give me two new chemo treatments. He agreed to double the maximum dosage that anyone was given before. Both chemo treatments have been outlawed since because of the numerous side effects. He's my hero and he says I'm his!

I later found out that the radiation machine was broken and was giving me much higher doses than allowed by law. They sent a letter to everyone who had used the machine. It was a hard fight and they brought my family in several times. I looked at them and said what are ya'll doing here? I'm not dying! :p

That was in 2005 and I'm still here! I'm not bragging. In fact I've been humbled to be able to tell the story. That is one of the reason losing foreverfan hurt me so deeply. I truly treasure good people who spread smiles.

The two years we should have won Super Bowls

2011
2017

We scored too eary

I don’t know what happened in 2018

If he had a defense for some of those other years

He's good enough to be recognized as the top offensive mind. He knows how to attack defenses but he doesn't know how to influence them. When he quit micro managing the defense was when we got better. If he had learned that lesson early on we might have another trophy n the case.

Besides that, he is an excellent motivator who understands how to organize and plan ahead for contingencies. No one runs a tighter ship....well, maybe BB. But that's OK because he's a cheater and we only run bounties.

We never had bounties and you know that. :p A player performance pool like every other team in the league? Yes. But according to the players (Fujita, Shanle, Vilma, etc.) I trust it never involved producing injuries. In fact, it discouraged injuries.
