Hopefully, I never have to see him wear our colors on the field. He'll look good holding a clip board. Even though I know that Payton will give Hill and him snaps in games to see how they perform where the team is blowing out the competition. I wonder if Winston is smart enough to let Payton have him manage games with out making dumb mistakes? That is what he is known for unfortunately.

In this crazy Pandemic time we are living through seeing Winston in a Black &
Gold uniform is the least of our worries...at least not yet.

Camp fodder points to Jameis looking impressive, even if he is wearing Aaron Brooks' old jersey number. Maybe the Saints organization has rubbed off on him. And his now corrected vision has improved his accuracy.

Coaching matters. Even at this level.

If Jameis learns to consistently make better decisions, he will become a very good QB.

I don't think Winston ever had consistent, quality coaching at the NFL level and like Cam Newton were thrown to the wolves as a #1 pick. I believe taking that pressure off and learning in a top tier offensive system and under a future HOF player like Drew will do him good. So far, reporters have been very impressed with his demeanor & overall ability at camp.
